Breakfast was excellent and staff very attentive

The food offered in the bar we expected to be able to eat at the hotel instead we had to go into the center a little disappointing

Location is brilliant. Right at edge of Gun wharf shops and restaurants.. 5 mins from rail staion.Staff were helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful and varied.

Room doors slam even when you try to close it quietly.

The room was simply not prepared in advance for new guests! There were absolutely no toiletries in the bathroom. The shampoo, body wash and hand wash containers were all empty! Firstly, this is unacceptable and staff should prepare the room and provide the bare essentials at least. There is very limited storage space, very minimal amenities and just 1 plug point to charge your phones and that too not next to the bed. They gave us a table fan but it was in a very bad condition. The fan blades were loose and making a loud sound! Thankfully, my husband managed to tighten them. This again showed their terrible service and attention to detail.We asked several times to refill the shampoo/soap etc. And they sent around 3 people to do this but they all failed to open the locked dispenser bottles to fill them! We were getting late for dinner and couldn't even take a shower before going out! We hoped that they would fix this by the time we came back. But no, apparently around this time, the lift was broken and someone was stuck in the lift and they spent several hours fixing that. This again demonstrated the poor maintenance and made us lose trust in the quality of the hotel. We didn't use the lift again.When we asked the front desk why they couldn't resolve the simple task of giving us toiletries, they revealed that the housekeeping staff is outsourced and they don't have access to the keys to open the dispenser bottles! Then why waste our time all evening with false hopes!? They finally gave us a bottle of shampoo but kept insisting that it was actually body wash even when we corrected them. So we had to take a shower with shampoo at night!Even the next day, they were saying they may not be able to give us the toiletries as the housekeeping staff will come after our checkout time! My husband was very frustrated with the front desk and went to complain.

Central location, basic room with everything we needed.

Very noisy from outside pubs. Still playing really loud music past midnight.

Lovely breakfast. Very good location. Staff excellent.

We need a bigger bed! So will book twin beds as king size not available.

I've stayed here many times,I love the location and I always find the staff , efficient friendly and helpful,it's a very comy hotel the breakfast is excellent and every time I visit it is always coming up with improvement.

Breakfast was fabulous and the grandchildren liked the play area.

Keeping the grandchildren quiet so maybe not a hotel for them in the future. Vegetarian options would be nice at breakfast instead of having to ask for them.

Rooms is very basic and breakfast cut off at 9.30 am a bit to early in my opinion if you are not working that day.

breakfast was good (especially as included), room fine, shower a bit small as was the very small tv. also id have liked the mirror nearer the bed.

navigating from car park to the hotel is not easy. no signage. better pre information on best area to park in the multi story would be good.,

I love the location and the staff are very helpful and pleasant. Really like the breakfast
