- The staff were fabulous!The glass of Prosecco at check was a definite plus.The room comfortable.The decor was dramatic and appealing, as was the whole hotel. They bathroom was roomy and had a lovely deep tub. The bar attached to the hotel was nice too.

The room was dusty and musty and lacked proper lighting fixtures in order to be able to see. The hotel has dirty carpets throughout and a distinct lack of attention to detail. The staff was rude and much too casual for a 4 star hotel.

Velvet Bar remains open for drinks only. Upon check-in you will need to provide a payment card for pre-authorization for the room rate, plus an additional GBP 100 and a photo ID, when booking suites this is GBP 200.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. A damage deposit of GBP 200.0 is required at checkin. This will be collected by credit card.
