    Pros +

    • The view and location were amazing
    • The price was good
    • Staff very friendly and helpful. nice atmosphere.Room was ok had enough room bed comfy.

    Cons -

    • The meals were a letdown Way too expensive for the rather poor quality
    • Some of the décor/furniture is looking dated.Bathroom could be modernised. No option for an earlier breakfast, as we had to leave before service.
    • I enquired prior to visit if they have gluten free options for celiac, I was informed they have a variety of gluten free choices, but it was very limited. They did refund one breakfast as they had no gluten free sausages at breakfast & I felt it was a waste of money for scrambled egg & slice of toast. It spoiled the day we had planned as we had to go locate food elsewhere, held up the planned day when we were advised there was variety of choices.

It was beautiful, inside and out! All the staff were friendly and the style of the property is amazing! Was very comfortable (we had a family room).

Nothing to complain about at all apart from shower pressure but that’s to be expected at such a big hotel!

    Location is beautiful.

We had booked a superior room with a Mountain View but were sadly given a bottom floor room with a view of the car park. Our room was extremely cold even with the radiators on. There was a large draft coming in both windows! We asked staff at front desk for a heater for our room but it took them 40 minutes to get that to us. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and gave us both a sore back the next day. We had the valentines meal at the restaurant which was fabulous apart from the puddings! Would not recommend the banoffee pie!

Liked that it was warm and cosy.

Beautiful building . Staff really sound

Bit cold in the room but it's an old building with single glazing so guess it's to be expected

Looks great from the outside and some of the public spaces are very impressive.

Quality of drinks at the bar could be better. Beer options were very limited.

New the area, visiting relations. A bit dated, but staff were excellent friendly and attentive and dog friendly.

As above dated but excellent value.

The staff are fabulous. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Excellent food. Convenient location for the morning Ullapool ferry and excellent value for money. Would happily stay here again.

    Nothing!

It has a proper highland hotel feel without being kitsch. The Staff were lovely. The grounds were very nice. Breakfast was perfect.

It could use a wee update to the carpets and bathroom in my room
