Staff were totally helpful; the food was excellent. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds.

Location was perfect for 1st stop on NC500 . Room was very comfortable , everywhere very clean . Food was good . Nice touch with treats , towel and toy for our dog in room .

When we went for dinner member of staff who seated us a bit off insisting we sat near exit from kitchen not in main part of restaurant . As staff came and went ignored us even when courses finished .As a result for us service was very slow . It was also dark with no outside windows and felt like we were in a corridor . I would have to say this hotel is dog tolerant rather than dog friendly .

Very small room, no view, obstructed window. We were there for 3 nights, would have expected a better .Breakfast not included in price, lots of items missing although eventually produced.Dinner menu dull and overpriced . Have stayed at sister hotel in Kylesku which was much better z

Lovely stylish hotel. Rooms a good size with appropriate facilities. Nice tidy decor. Bed comfortable. Staff friendly and very helpful.Breakfast was delicious.

Dinner was pleasant, wine selection interesting and bottle we selected was good. However in a hotel of this calibre, I was hoping for some options with a bit more variety, more exciting and tastier.

Very comfortable, Had a lovely time. staff very helpful, Had piper piping at breakfast was such a lovely touch. Tourists loved it.Will return again in the future.

The property was very fine and all of the fixtures and fittings were of great quality and useful. It was brilliantly sited comfortable and a pleasure to be there. The pipes at breakfast were a delight.

I found food prices to be eyewateringly expensive as dinner for two , two courses only, with one beer and a glass of Prosecco, plus an imposed “ service charge “ of some £10 came to £ 102 plus. Even in this world of high prices that is surely way too high. That really spoiled my stay there.

The Easter dinner was very poor. For a hotel that prides itself on beef, meal seemed like a Co-op ready meal. Beef was very poor and NOT chef carved as per the menu.All the more surprising as breakfast was excellent!

Nicely refurbished. Bar and dining areas were well done. Good location and quiet. Nice breakfast. Nice beach less than a 5 min walk from property.

Poor quality roast dinner - equal or lower standard than toby carvery. Pillows were too soft. Bathroom not completely clean and black mold on ceiling.

took a while to get a drink at the bar in the evening and one couple waited 10 minutes as there was only one person at bar and they left to do something else

Everything was fantastic friendly helpful staff amazing rooms and the food was great. Tried local beer was lovely.

The hotel is beautifully designed and decorated. It is a pleasure to walk around and discover all the lovely little details you find in every corner. The food is very good and the staff is friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much.
