Pros +
- We loved the location. In vicinity of the local village and easy to walk along to get the sights of loch ness. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was very nice (we had the evening meal and it was a very good experience, not cheap but not as expensive as people may make out). The room was well equipped, easy temperature controls in the room which was great for the time of year too!Dog friendly in the room and the restaurant which was nice, also, Plenty of free parking on site available without need for reservation.
- Clean, well kept, friendly staff and close to the village
- Lovely place to stay for a few days at Loch Ness! The room felt recently refurbished and was perfectly clean and comfortable, with everything you need provided. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, with lots of lovely locals in and out, providing great conversation and recommendations, and a willingness to go the extra mile to help you out. The place had a really refreshing community feel that made for a nice change of pace to help you feel settled and relaxed
Cons -
- My only minor complaint would be the soundproofing. You could hear most things from other rooms and we wouldn't have minded it that much but we have a reactive dog who is very anxious so she wasn't too happy about it! Something to keep in mind :)
- Resturant closed for low season drawback off having a January birthday
- Staff was nice overall. Management staff a bit course.

The location good sized room and comfy bed

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Always happy and served with a smile. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was one of the best nights sleep I have had in a long while. Wil definitely book here again.
Room was nice.

Location is perfect - PERFECT! Parking was a doddle, room was great and comfy, cafe was great too - but the overriding plus at this hotel is the staff. Every single one of them couldnt do enough for us. From help with things to takeaway food when the cafe was full to bursting. The staff take this lovely sport from very good to great! Special shoutout to the Liverpool fan too - us mighty Gooners will get you next time :-)When we revisit Loch Ness - we will without doubt be staying here again. The hotel made the whole experience of exploring the Loch and our tour of the Scottish Highlands even more amazing. We cannot thank them enough!
The person at the reception desk was lovely. Very friendly and kind. We booked two rooms, one standard and one budget because that was the combination that fitted the number of people in our party. The standard room was really lovely, with gorgeous wallpaper and an excellent shower. The budget room was more bare bones but was still very clean and quite comfortable.
The layout both within the main hotel and to get to the budget rooms area was a bit confusing. The main building is a walk-up which means hauling bags up stairs--this was a minor inconvenience for us but would be more of a problem for someone with mobility problems.
Comfortable, clean and spacious rooms. Friendly staff and tasty vegetarian breakfast.
We visited in winter and there was a group of us and there was not communal area to sit in in the evening, I'm sure this is different in the summer as the cafe and/or other local bars would be open.
The staff were lovely, helpful and very accommodating. I informed them I was coeliac and lactose intolerant and they placed oat milk for my tea and a couple of gluten-free fruit scones in my room. They made very nice gluten-free vegan breakfast for me also. The hotel has been quite nicely refurbished in the recently few years, so is modern, stylish and clean.
Not really anything, but it was a little tricky to find the hotel reception as it's simply in the cafe.
Great room, loads of space, comfy bed and good location.
The shower was great but so noisy - could be heard down the corridor! And sound proofing of rooms really poor, could hear next door chatting away and then one of them had a shower at 10.30 at night and it was so loud! So not just our room who had a noisy shower!!!
Location was perfect, nice walk to the village and a good walk to the castle.
Walls are paper thin, you can hear most things.
Great location in Drumnadrochit - right next to the original Drumnadrochit hotel where the Nessie story began (and is now an excellent museum that I’d recommend!). Room was cosy and comfortable with a nicely updated bathroom.
The walls are a bit thin! We could hear people talking loudly in the corridor and in the room next to us.
Clean and comfortable facilities great location
Good location. Excellent team in the hotel. Friendly service and a family feel from all. Nice people. Thanks Donald
I liked how close it was to cafes and gift shops
I was annoyed that there was no pubs open, I love a beer
Not much it wasn’t great
Bathroom hairs all over especially the toilet Also hairs in the bed Cups were stained
The Hotel was lovely and super clean, breakfast was very good and cooked perfectly, the staff were excellent and very knowledgeable about the area and places to visit, Emily (older one) was especially fantastic and made our stay even better.
Location was slightly outnoff the way walk wise to anything and the bar closed early 4pm due to winter hours.
Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Food was excellent and the room was one of the best we have stayed in. Beds comfortable and room very clean. Staff were accommodating throughout especially with our dog and had great suggestions on what to do.
Nothing. No complaints at all.
Great location, friendly helpful staff, beautiful large bedrooms tastefully decorated, shower room luxurious with lovely white fluffy towels, well equipped with TV, Scottish toiletries, generous tea and coffee supplies
Nothing I didn’t like but disappointed that Bistro/ restaurant shut at 5pm as finding somewhere to eat in Drumnadrochit near impossible! A few local Scottish biscuits in the room would have been a nice touch
