Pros +
- Situated in a beautiful remote location, the property was warm and welcoming, with a great bar and restaurant. The haggis and black pudding pizza is a ‘must try’!
- The Staff were all very friendly and helpful , Food was good and plentiful with the exception of Breakfast. The Room was compact but very comfortable with Tea/Coffee facilities.Although located next to the main road it was quiet.Would I stay again -- absolutely
- Staff were friendly and the food was really good. The room was a little small for two adults and a dog!
Cons -
- The Breakfast was disappointingServed as a Buffet in a very cramped space - choice of Food varied depending on the number of people trying to serve themselves.Only one price for Breakfast whether you had Continental or Full.
- Slight issue of walking outdoors from the rooms to the restaurant but we had raincoats so no real issues!
- I’d booked a room with a terrace so I could vape comfortably outside but there was no outside light or table which was somewhat disappointing.

The room was very comfortable and the shower was good. The food at the restaurant was great and a good price - we had a really lovely evening!

Beautiful setting, comfortable beds.
I’d booked a room with a terrace so I could vape comfortably outside but there was no outside light or table which was somewhat disappointing.
Our hosts kept everything running when storm Amy took the power out, including a hot breakfast.
Very friendly staff and great food. Beautifully clean, simple and straightforward accommodation for a sensible price.
The room itself was generally fine and we managed to sleep fairly well.
When we arrived, we were handed our key and an information sheet without a word. A group of people leaning against the bar, along with the two staff members working at the hotel, looked us up and down in an unfriendly way.The bathroom was not up to standard: the ventilation vent was covered in dust and the shower needed to be unclogged. The atmosphere of the hotel was unwelcoming. The check-out was just as cold as the check-in, and I had to look around several times before finding a staff member. Overall, the lack of hospitality was deeply disappointing, and we did not feel encouraged to stay for breakfast.
The hotel was perfect for a climbing trip to the mountains in the North West Highlands. Breakfast was available nice and early and dinner from 6pm. The food was excellent. Staff were lovely and attentive. Would definitely recommend.
Check in wasn't until 4pm, but this was stated on the website I just hadn't read this. Plan your arrival accordingly.
Location and food was really good
Bit dated but beds were comfy
Comfortable - hot water for shower and nice products
Front rooms hear noise from the road sporadically in the night but not too bad I stayed in Mountain View rooms before and preferred them to this room over the bar at the front
The Aultguish Inn is in a stunning highlands location. The room was comfortable and cosy. The restaurant has a great menu and delicious food. Staff were great.
Quiet and available at a reasonable price. Restaurant on site.
The room was very small and the bed was very uncomfortable.
Good homely cooking for evening meal. Excellent location.
Breakfast options were basic and the serving area was cramped
Comfortable and decent bar and restaurant. Best veggie menu on my trip with the black lentil stew just delicious. Great parking
Location, Staff, quality of accommodation and food. Whiskey selection.
Bit pricey but you get what you pay for in this case. Quality of accommodation and facilities are superior to anything else in the area. Given the remote location it warrants a premium price.
Fantastic!!! Lovely welcome by proprietor on arrival. Room was spotless and had a great view of the mountains. Beds comfy and very little noise from road. Food was excellent, and great choice for breakfast.
Nothing to not like.
Good location for travellers on the beautiful road to Applecross. Very clean and comfortable. Large TV. Walk in shower, coffee facilities and a restaurant where they serve large portions for the hungry traveller.well recommended!
Heather, the lady who checked us in, and who also ran the bar was wonderful. She was friendly and had a good personality. The food was very nice and we just enjoyed our stay.
Not much. It was a lovely place to stay.
Check-in and check-out were easy and straightforward. The room was large and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and a shower that had good pressure and temperature. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The bar was enjoyable, and the attached restaurant served amazing food for dinner.
