Pros +
- The location was perfect - close to the ferry and within easy reach of starting points for hikes. Definitely 5 stars for all our dining experiences. The breakfasts were excellent and the staff exceptionally friendly. Dinner was superb- lots of choices, nicely presented and everything tasted amazing. The distillery tour was a lovely experience - so interesting and well presented.
- The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable and the food was exceptional. My second time staying there and would certainly go back.
- Really great location, food excellent, amenities great.
Cons -
- The room was very small, no wardrobe, little lay down area, only room for one chair and the view was the roof of the distillery. I would have expected a lot more for £250 a night & this was the price in October. I would have preferred to have known in advance that the room was small and had absolutely no view- my initial reaction was one of huge disappointment.
- Staff at check in not interested and frankly lazy.
- Nothing exceptional service and little extras. Like complimentary whiskey in room.

Amazing place. A lot of energy and empathy by a young team. Very enjoy full on all fronts. Very supportive. Amazing distillery tour. Nuala is a great, experienced and eager person to explain you all about the distillery. Highly recommendable. At risk of not being able to find a vacancy when coming back.
Very warm welcome was a muddle up on type of room. They managed to give us both a room with no extra charge. Staff very good couldn’t do enough for you. And a very good trip around distillery.
Nothing exceptional service and little extras. Like complimentary whiskey in room.
Friendly staff, great views from the room and on the island
Quite a small room for the money . Perhaps we could have been told beforehand about the piping event as we would have tried to go to it though It was good to hear piping in the evening.
Character architecture with adjoining distillery. We were able topartake of a distillery tour at no cost being guests . Food was of a high standard
Room was small with a side view.
Amazing location great staff wonderful tour
Rooms too small
Great breakfast although it would have been better with beans. The whisky tour and free drink at the bar was a lovely extra touch.
Nothing - everything was good
Great views of isle of skye. Friendly staff, the tour, the welcome drink and the goodies in the room
Loved it all
The staff greeted us with a welcome drink. Then we had a complementary tour of distillery. The room was comfortable, clean and modern.
I liked everything about the place.
Took the 1pm ferry over. Made the informative complimentary 2:45pm distillery tour with tasting. Checked in after. Rooms were cute, clean and comfortable. Did a little hike before dinner downstairs at their restaurant which was great! Breakfast included the next morning which was also excellent!
Nothing!
Our room was beautiful with majestic views of the Isle of Skye. They had complementary whiskey from their distillery in our room. Staff was lovely and gave us the history of the island. Breakfast was great as was dinner.
There was nothing I didn’t like about the property
Aside from the beautiful location, the people at the hotel are lovely. Our server was born and raised on the island and studied Scottish history. She shared a lot about the island that we would never have known otherwise. The bedding was wonderful… And that’s a big issue for me.
There was nothing at the property that I didn’t like. Everything was perfect.
This is a hidden gem! The staff was excellent, the food was excellent, and the scenery and beauty of the isle was beyond what we could have imaged.
The accommodation and facilities were excellent. No evening meals were available on a wednesday ot thursday evening so guests were booked in the Raasay House, a short walk along the road. This was also an outstanding venue with excellent staff and food,
Its an exclusive experience, but the price is set to match. This is also our experience of meals at the Raasay House
Everything. The staff over all amazing
Not great comunication. Not answering messages. It was at the very end, that we could book the complimentary tour with them
All public rooms were very comfortable. The Breakfast was very good. The Whisky Tour was very enjoyable. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. The room was clean and well presented. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The bottle of Raasay whisky for a 'snifter' should we need it was a delightful surprise. The views from the hotel front, across the sound to Skye were beautiful.
Our bedroom was far too small, we had to 'sachet around' each other as only one person could move about at a time. Our bed was no where near big enough for two persons. The duvet cover was only just the same size as the bed, so not nearly big enough when draped over two persons. We had a two night stay and were over tired and ill tempered at the end of our stay, due to insufficient sleep. The Shower room was even less comfortable - due to restricted space we both burnt ourselves on the heated towel rail when literally squeezing out of the shower door as it didn't open easily or fully. This was reported to reception. We didn't receive enough drinking water for our hot drinks.

The location is spectacular! The ferry ride to the island is short and very scenic. Everything feels like a scene in a movie! Would definitely go back
Only one place to eat on the island, and you need to book in advance. If not you risk missing out.
