- Beauly if a pretty town. Road congestion delayed our arrival and the hotel arranged for a late meal. Good full
- The hotel has a historical charm to it, the staff were excellent and the bar was lively for a cold and wet November night.
- Although in annex, good room that suited us and our dog.
Cons -
- Promised wifi was not functioning
- Electronic key cards stopped functioning but staff quickly fixed them.
- There was some kind of kitchen crisis going on which made the wait for evening meals extremely long. The rooms are past their best and nobody came to empty the bins. The breakfast was very ordinary, no muesli or fresh fruit. Requests were met with a blunt no. Expensive for what you get

It was reasonably comfortable, lots of comfortable public space. The public areas are well furnished. Everything else was ok rather than brilliant. Lovely setting in a pretty village.

Good location, just off the main road. Quirky room at the top of the hotel. Found a field of "cows" up the road.
The situation in Beauly enabled us to visit friends living nearby. The rooms were pleasant & well decorated & the historical & clan presentations in the lounge were interesting.
The shower room was compact!
Clean, cosy hotel, and bedroom.Staff were really friendly and very informative, regarding our stay, and our needs.Would recommend this beautiful hotel.
There wasn't any issues,we didn't like.Highly
Yes not happy about £10 surcharge on the steake dinner , which I was not informed about , , and breakfast was not gud to overcooked , but room very comfortable !!
food was awesome real value for money.staff were really helpful great looking room real homley had a great stay thanks.
happy with stay.awesome stay
Only ok
Checked in and asked could we book dinner and was told yes, came down 10 mins later and was told a tour had arrived and we should go to another hotel
The welcome on arrival was friendly, interested in my journey to them. Helped with error in booking, did it professionally and seamlessly with my online booking. Room was a good size, bed comfortable, tv, tea and coffee provided. It's a historical themed hotel, but tastefully done. Good dinner arrangements, breakfast too, in a separate room to dinner. Comfortable lounge area, new outdoor seating area to the front, and pretty flower baskets made it inviting. Lots of historical information about Lord Lovat's lineage. Chef had some excellent choices, the seared salmon was so good. Emily and Ellie were really good at their jobs
Decor throughout a little tired, but still in good order. In the room, the en-suite was of good quality, but the washbasin was too large and made manoeuvring awkward. Rear parking area was quite overgrown and a lot of glass broken in one area
The breakfast was decent for its value and the bathroom had been updated
We were told when we arrived that we were in a separate annex - an old house around the corner that was quite dingy. The bed was pretty uncomfortable. However it was clean
Very nice town, excellent bakery across the street and beautiful surroundings. The hotel building is also lovely and properly conserved.
The staff is lifeless or they are all trainees. The bathroom is uncomfortable, it does not justify the room price.

Twin beds for family
Well located not far from Inverness and on main roads. Room was comfortable enough but tired looking. A fair price I suppose given that rooms in Inverness are at a premium at this time of year. Breakfast was good.
Parking not so easy. Bathroom light didn’t work and couldn’t be replaced. In fairness the staff gave us a refund for breakfast because of the inconvenience.
Very good
Everything was great, the hotel staff is friendly ,helpful and kind.
Near Inverness
We were not in the hotel but in an annexe, really an old house next to the hotel.
Manager very rude
My friends key would not open his room and the manager was demanding he slept on my bedroom floor as he couldn’t sort the problem very unprofessional
Close to Belladrum Festival
Old fashioned room, tiny tv on a deskSomeone ran after us (on arrival day) because they realised the payment hasn’t gone through with booking…

Bath in room with shower as we were going to a wedding had to help my wife she has Ms no handrails carpet in the room wet, curtains falling down, door sticking room not cleaned the next day and room had musty smell thankfully we had a great time at the wedding.
