Pros +
- Liked the view, the place, the amenities and the ambience if place very much.
- Liked the ability to drop the bag early. Would’ve been even better if we could’ve accessed the spa facilities prior to booking in. Overall the quality of the building, the room, the additional space, facilities and ease of booking in were fantastic. A personal choice but our room was too warm with no way of changing the temperature so the window was opened and we were lucky to have a fan.Cannot fault the diligence and professionalism of all staff members who were incredibly busy whilst maintaining professional expertise. Drinks at the bar were amazing and the breakfast one of the best. Downsides we stayed on a Saturday and didn’t bank on external bookings. Whilst they provide an important resource they distracted from our comfort, whilst trying to use the lounge in the evening some 20 females took over the lounge and should have been redirected by staff into the bar area forcing us to curtail our quiet evening which was a shame
- Amazing staff facilities we were in a comfy roof out back and it was lovely
Cons -
- Just small mistakes made by staff for giving birthday cake instead of anniversary which kind of pushed our plans
- As mentioned above, it’s a personal minor thing. Overall the hotel offers fantastic value for money with exceptional staff, good facilities in a central location. We would stay again but would avoid peak weekend times

Amazing staff facilities we were in a comfy roof out back and it was lovely
The staff were all outstanding. The facilities within the hotel are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. Location is excellent for the city centre.
Attentive staff in a wonderful location provided a top notch experience for our family. With a view of the castle and a close proximity to the river made for relaxing walks and stunning scenery. Fantastic stay.
Central, pool spa
Food
Super clean & cosy room, right in the heart of Inverness, very kind staff
Everything was perfect
Room was nice, food was exceptional, good location for the town centre, helpful staff.
Bed could of been bigger, maybe my fault, nothing like enough car parking at the hotel, but you could park at the cathedral.
Very good
Double bed was two singles together which was a little uncomfortable. Workmen was right under our window so we got woken a few times. we could hear everything in corridors also, from kids crying and doors opening and shutting. Overall stay was ok location perfect, staff seemed lovely. Hotel itself was lovely overall and staff were helpful
Spa facilities are good
Small rooms in secondary hotel location
The spa, staff, room and location were great.
Food was ok. Breakfast buffet flow not great. Corridor lights too bright overnight: better if they were motion activated.
Location, room, cafe, amenities and staff were excellent.
Nothing it was a great stay
Breakfast and staff were lovely.Although had to wait for top-ups of hot food.
When we booked receptionist was coughing
The breakfast was nice enough. Continental was self serve with hot food requested. Took a while for hot food to get out and very few options. Tasty, though.Location was absolutely beautiful, I loved that dogs were welcome
No lift. Thankfully we were only on the first floor, but even that was hard when we spent all day hiking
Location, comfort, friendly staff, good value for money.
Only small things. Extractor fan in bathroom didn't work and would have like a mini fridge in room. We only stayed two nights so this is being really picky to be honest.
Very central. Great staff great rooms great facilities great parking. Great mid week deal Lovely having the spa facilities to use at any time
Easy check in and pleasant staff on arrival
Bar was clearly understaffed and the poor woman was struggling at times
The staff is wonderful. Always glad to help and acccomodate
Very nice. Would have enjoyed better seating at the bar, sofas, better chairs
Brilliant Location. Comfortable bed.
Shower difficult to work. Water temp unpredictable.
It was close to a very pretty river..
I had a huge delay in my flight, got to hotel at 1.30am.. not only did the door start slamming at 7 am ish. The cleaners at 8 hoovering outside the room.. could hear upstars every time they flushed the loo.. would be so nice if they put the door on a slow hinge. Know ur clients and start cleaners else where.. over all. I wouldn’t be in hurry to go back…
