Breakfast was fine, server friendly
Bar open dependent on (local) customers in, so would be closed at 9 pm. No key to access the building, we had to phone to tell them if we would be late. We arrived back about 11 pm, staff said 'bar is closed" and we went to our rooms without further discussion as felt as if we were a nuisance.

The TV and Wi/Fi were not working, and there were 8 doors to negotiate which is no doubt due to regulations, but still a pain!
Always clean. Great service. Staff excellent. Always stay at the Lairg Highland when I’m visiting in the Highlands. It’s my 3rd stay and I always feel welcome. Great food and great breakfast and the staff are brilliant.

Basic single room, warm, with the usual facilities, en-suite very clean.Evening meal, again just a basic pub meal nothing fancy. Breakfast very filling for the drive aheadStaff very pleasant and always very busy
Slow to answer reception, but once I had noticed a sign stating that the Hotel was short staffed and to expect a delay then I stopped pressing the Bell. Receptionist not only worked on reception but bar and restaurant too.
Friendly staff. Decaf tea available. Good meal.
