Kyle Hotel 'A Bespoke Hotel'

Great location to visit Sky without staying on Sky. Friendly staff. Decent food in the pub. Some rooms have been redone and are very nice. Would stay again.

The room didn’t feel particularly clean and there was a strong smell of cannabis throughout the hallway.

Booked a room for one night en route to Skye. The Hotel and room met my expectations at this economical price. I didn't expect 5 star luxury at this price. But the staff were every friendly and helpful, the room clean and tidy, good shower, comfy bed. Good food (not haute cuisine) but good honest food. Excellent breakfast in a clean and smart restaurant.

My room was at the exit door end of a long corridor so consequently it was a little noisy as people came and went. C'est la vie!

The hotel itself was very conveniently located close to the bus stop and train station in Kyle. Everything be it a shop or restaurant was within easy walking distance.

Personally the size of the room is a bit cramped for my tastes, but there’s not much I can do about that. I would say the shower glass could use to go all the way down the length of the tub. I was getting a lot of water on the floor. Plus centralized air would be great.

Cleanliness of the room, friendly, helpful staff, and an easy back door exit to the parking lot for those on the second floor.

Could do with an anti slip shower mat.

The Kyle Hotel made our stay at Isle of Skye very pleasant and comfortable. Although the facility was quite old and the room looked plain and cold when we first came in, we ended up having a great time. The room was perfectly clean and had everything we neeeded for a 2-night stay. The staff was very kind and always helpful. What we enjoyed the most was the delicious buffet breakfast that contained many options to choose from. The staff made sure that we got everything we needeed (including plant-based options!).

Good parking and in a nice location. Shower was nice and there was option for breakfast and even lunch/dinner.

The walls were very thin, I could hear everything in the halls and in the rooms next to me. Had a bit of a strange smell in the rooms next.

Bed very uncomfortable, stains on bedding, food was basic at top price, very dated property

Was handy for where I was working, room was clean, staff where good and Barry and pub seemed ok.

Was over priced for an average room but this seems to be the norm for the area. Breakfast was basic, plates and some hot foods were cold. Evening meals over priced for bar food but not much compition in the area. TV in room not getting a signal seems a comon problem in the area. The bed mattress was far too hard and unable to get a decent sleep actually one of the worst I've had anywhere.

This is my second time staying at the Kyle, I like this Hotel as it's only small but comfortable, which suits me down to the ground. The Staff are really pleasant and helpful whether you are in the Bar, Dining room or at Reception. It's also very convenient for the Railway Station and a nice little walk down to the Harbour or local shops. The Single rooms that I have had are very clean and they have put in new showers so for a single person, it suits me fine, should I have to deliver another vehicle up to the Isle of Skye, I shall book into the Kyle Hotel again. The Breakfast was good and one had a variety of choices of what to have. If you fancy a few pints after your evening meal, a Pint of Bitter is £5.00.

Unfortunately, whoever stayed in Room No. 6 before me had trimmed their toenails, and the cleaner hadn't vacuumed very well as I went round picking them up, so not good. I didn't complain, although thinking about it afterwards, I should have done otherwise; the cleaner will keep skimping on the job.

Great hotel on the Isle of Skye. Good location, good food, nice rooms. Also, my son's name is Kyle, so my daughter in law had fun with this throughout the town
