About
Found in an Edwardian building formerly home to the Anchor Line Shipping Company’s headquarters, this city center aparthotel is inspired by a 1920s ocean liner. With original 1906 features, there are glazed tiles, terrazzo flooring, timber wall-paneling, fireplaces and even the original safes. With a 24-hour reception, Native Glasgow is located next to George Square. All units include a seating area, a TV, an equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a private bathroom. A dishwasher, a microwave and fridge are also available, as well as a kettle. The penthouse apartments also feature a terrace. The on-site restaurant specializes in European cuisine. Citizens' Theater is 0.7 mi from the aparthotel, while Glasgow Royal Infirmary is 0.8 mi from the property.

Cons -
- Floor was possibly haunted? I kept hearing knocking in the hallway at night but my floor wasn't fully occupied. Weird but not an issue.
- Horrible smell coming from the restaurants in the back that woke us up at 5 AM along with the loud sound of trash getting dropped at the bin
- Black mold in the shower, mold on pillowcase, shower head broke and sprayed everywhere as well as cut my hand, received “clean” towel with visible yellow streak staining all over

Stunning view of George Square from my balcony, with a bonus drum and bagpipe concert one night happening near by that I could listen to with the door cracked. Very comfortable bed, the kitchenette was great for making tea and snacks. Easy to get around and lots of nearby shops and restaurants. Area felt very safe at night.

My home from home I loved my wee flat on the 7th floor overlooking the iconic rooftops of Glasgow and George Square
It’s a 10!
Great location to access the trains and centre of the city, very walkable! Loved the style of the room and the bed was very comfortable. Having a kitchenette was great, room was very clean!
Bathroom: toilet flush was hit or miss, the sink did not drain which is never a good sign. No outlets in the bathroom. Noise: the noise from the street up to the window was insanely loud, the windows must not be very soundproof but it really impacted our sleep negatively. I think these are minor issues but for the price I expected a bit more! Overall a decent stay, but I would probably look elsewhere next time to avoid the noise.
We needed laundry machines halfway thru our trip, so Native was a top pick. Our penthouse single had a beautiful view of Glasgow, a kitchenette, and a good sized bathroom. The location is right in the heart of much of Glasgow, and near the train & bus stations for anything you want to get to.
The balcony door had only horizontal blinds - we would have appreciated curtains to block out light. The room faced the sunrise. Half of the sheer curtains on the window were locked in place at the rail, so we had them partially closed all the time.
Very clean and chic, perfect location, friendly staff,
Stairs before the lift specially if you have luggage!
The location is absolutely perfect! The seventh floor terrace was so cool. Mine looked over St. George Square. A truly magical experience.
No outlet in the bathroom
Right in the middle of city center and very close to queen street station. Staff was kind and accommodating. Apartment was comfortable for a few nights
The room looked down on the alleyway and it was always loud, no matter the time of day. Could also use an oven
Amazing property! Great location and staff very friendly.
The staff made our stay very nice, very attentive to us and the room was spotless. The hotel is in a great location. Definitely recommend going to the Atlantic Restaurant just outside the hotel. The food was amazing!
Location, rooms very clean and decorated to a high standard. Bed was super comfy, big bathroom and super fully equipped little kitchenette.

This is a perfect place to stay if in Glasgow for a few days! I was there on business and absolutely loved the location, onsite team, apartment, Atlantic Bar & Brasserie and simply the whole experience. I will not only recommend it to my colleagues, family and friends but certainly intend to come back if in Glasgow again!
Nothing!
The room was very spacious, comfortable, quiet and well equipped. The staff were friendly, helpful and kind and the location is great- a very short walk from the train station and while it is in the busy city centre, the large room with a huge double glazed window overlooking the square was very serene. We appreciated the well equipped kitchenette.
Unfortunately, the lift (elevator) was not functioning during our three days stay- a member of the staff promptly carried our bags up to the room when we arrived, but the 175 steps up to our 6th floor room felt like a lot after walking miles in beautiful Glasgow! Hopefully they will solve their technical difficulties permanently! The stairways could use a deep cleaning! However, our room, bath and kitchenette were was spotless.
The staff were extremely helpful, kind and to make everything perfect.
The elevator was out but the staff helped us by changing our apartment from a very nice suite on the 6th floor to a very nice suite on the 2nd floor. They also carried our heavy luggage to and from our room when we arrived and when we left so it made up for this issue.
The staff was better than exceptional! They accommodated us so well. Any time we had questions, they went above and beyond. Location is perfect. Rooms are large and you have everything you need! Clean and cozy. I can’t think of any complaints.
Had the one bedroom - which was huge .Also they had the sofa bed already made up for my arrival .
