Hilton Garden Inn Glasgow City Centre

Location for visiting the OVO Hydro was excellent & close to restaurants etc. On site parking was good with discounted price if you pay inside the hotel.

Quite a long wait to check in as receptionist was tackling a queue by himself.No the pillows were beautifully soft but I need a firm option and there were none available

Clean rooms. Bathroom a bit dated but still clean. Breakfast area nice and staff very helpful with my child with food allergies.

My only gripe would be that they placed us (myself and small child) in a room directly above function suite where party music played late into the night. Reception staff acknowledged this wasn’t good planning on their part and regretted not placing us along the corridor or on a higher floor when I mentioned it in the morning.

Excellent staff on reception. Great, clean room and super comfy bed.

An eye roll when asking about vegan options on the menu. Not appreciated.

Very poor on tea/coffee supplies. No shower cap. No fresh water. Room was very dusty especially lamps beside bed. Tv was very basic

Location is perfect for the arena, easy to drive to and parking on site.

Shower was cold and didn't warm up at all, the pillows felt like they had nothing inside and your face got surrounded by pillow, no sturdyness.

Lovely, clean hotel. We booked this to attend a concert at the OVO Hydro.. perfect location for that purpose! Only a short walk to the venue. 100% good value for money.It is not too much of a distance from the city centre either.The room was easy to access and comfortable. The view of the River Clyde and The Clyde Arc was lovely from our room too. It was nice to be able to open the window for some fresh air flow. We would definitely stay again.

The bathroom needs some TLC to make it match the standard of the hotel. The queue to check in was quite long as there was only one member of staff on the reception desk at first until a second member joined to help the other out.

Location is fantastic and there is a perfect river view from the bar. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The bar man was lovely. Great breakfast. On site parking.

We had a bit of a problem with a broken air conditioning unit, stuck in heating mode, but were given another room to sleep in and the maintenance man called first thing in the morning to replace a part. Just one of those things that happens. The staff were very helpful about it all.

Good location, food on restaurant was very good and lady that served us was very polite and always paying attention.

The mattress was uncomfortable, which affected my sleep. On the first night there was no body lotion in the room. This was provided the next morning, however later that same day there was no shower gel available.I requested more toiletries at reception and was told that shower gel was out of stock and that hand soap would be provided instead, as it was “the same product,” which I did not agree with.At no point during my stay was I asked how my stay was or whether everything was satisfactory. The hotel also appeared to be short-staffed, which may explain some of these issues, but it did impact the overall experience.

loved the location, loved the room, was tidy and clean .

didn’t like fact never pre warned of a £80 charge for staying until leave, also food was gd but no blackpudding ! not as much pastries out early either.

How close it was to the hydro arena

After booking the hotel and room three months before we arrived to find out the room we had ordered and paid for available anymore

Location is great as we attended concert at The Hydro

We only had one bath towel

Great breakfast. Loved the location by the river. Easy buses into town
