    Pros +

    • The cabins were lovely
    • It was beautiful room. Only complaint. Needed to be able to open window more since very hot. Otherwise wonderful place
    • Beautiful location and the staff are lovely - friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff were super helpful in providing gluten free options and the reception staff were friendly and welcoming.Amazing view of the hills and paddocks from our room

    Cons -

    • Not much to do with young boys... a play ground would have been nice
    • For £170 a night I expected better quality rooms but they were very basic and the beds were small and uncomfortable. Below Premier inn quality. The coffee machine in the room leaked water all over the desk (and my laptop) and the toilet roll holder needed fixing. The room was also unbearably hot throughout the night. Also very unimpressed with the additional £50 holding fee which gets taken off your credit card when you book in and which (at 4pm day of checkout) I'm still waiting to be returned. No reason to hold it that long (we left the room in good condition).
    • The restaurant on site was Italian. It was loud and the service and food was just okay.

It was located in a quiet area not far from the Glasgow airport. The room was comfortable and well furnished. The breakfast was delicious .

The restaurant on site was Italian. It was loud and the service and food was just okay.

Lodges were lovely and very comfortable.Dinner in the restaurant was outstanding, we had a table for 9 and all meals came out together and all were hot.Breakfast for 12 of us and the staff handled it without hesitation.

We had 2 lodges with jacuzzi and sauna would have been nice to be able to use them before we went to the wedding but only available from 4pm.

We were surprised by how lovely the place was, and seeing the paddocks with horses was an extra boon. The room was very clean and comfy. The dinner at the restaurant was fabulous, as was breakfast.

It was really nice, and there was nothing we didn't like.

    Clean environment

Room has no iron/ironing table. One switch off all light in the room at same time.

    10JillPosted on: 4-30-2025

The room was comfortable and it was in a beautiful setting. We got to watch riders in an indoor arena while we ate dinner and from our room we saw riders in an outside ring

The price was higher than I would have liked.

    Cosy at night

Not good value for money - never got in lodge till 4pm which was quite a late check in considering check out is 11am

    Room was lovely and clean

Pillows were very thin and flat

    6ValPosted on: 4-24-2025

The function suites are beautiful . The reception staff were very friendly. The breakfast staff were helpful. Staff in all, were a credit.

The hotel rooms are quite basic for the price . We only had one hand towel. The lamps were dusty. We had to ask for more milk & tea. There was no bar in the hotel , as it was a wet & windy night we didn’t want to walk to the restaurant twice getting wet. Room service was an option but only one chair or sit on the bed

    7RichardPosted on: 4-21-2025

Staff were friendly & helpful. Good selection at breakfast (though would benefit from covers in hot food during non-peak times), grounds & view were lovely.

Noise through walls & ceiling in room was loud - poor insulation meant could hear a lot of conversation at what seemed like normal conversation level was audible. Feels like the spa area could be better used if not only on a pre-book system (aka available for all included unless room has booked privately).

    8GordonPosted on: 4-18-2025

Junior Suite was spacious, Jacuzzi bath was very welcome. Facilities were good, Food in the resturant was excellent.

Bulbs missing in lighting, Nail varnish marks on bath, door handles and stains in carpet. No fridge! Bathroom marble shelf not fixed down, Dangerous! Rwalplug holes in bathroom wall

    7MichellePosted on: 4-16-2025

The bed was comfy and the shower was wonderful for achy muscles.

Breakfast (specifically bacon) was over cooked, coffee machine is overly complicated. For a high class establishment the breakfast condiments were terrible, basic jam and honey in plastic pots.....not a quality I would expect for this country club. Only 1 disabled parking space by the hotel entrance which was occupied. There should be more and a clearly signposted option for drop off instead of no access!

    9SheenaPosted on: 4-15-2025

Visiting family nearby, great location - staff excellent, breakfast staff & reception staff especially. Superb value for money

Minor dislike only - having to walk from car park! Especially when raining!

    9SylviaPosted on: 4-14-2025

Beautiful setting, friendly, helpful Reception staff and a clean room with all facilities needed - I appreciated the biscuits! The restaurant was very good, with very friendly, efficient staff.Friends were staying on the adjacent motorhome park so we were able to meet up for a meal. We were all very impressed with the views and facilities on site.

The walls were very thin between the rooms. My only criticism was being able to hear the couple next door talking to each other.

    10DavidPosted on: 4-11-2025

Very convenient location with lots of space to park. The whole site is very well maintained and attractive. The hotel has been built to a good standard and was very clean. The room was a good size and everything worked correctly. The staff were friendly and professional and seemed to keen to make sure that we were well looked after.

    10MohammedPosted on: 4-10-2025

Our recent stay at the hotel was exceptional. It served as the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and provided a comfortable atmosphere for relaxation. A special mention to the staff for going above and beyond by decorating our room for my wife’s birthday — she was pleasantly surprised and truly delighted. It was a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended.

Room was nice but few bits could do with attention a bit worn on some soft furnishings but it was very clean
