- Refurb is superb. Bedrooms great. Location to hydro fab. Breakfast selection is excellent. All of the staff were friendly.
- We could use the pool and keep our bags in a room while we explored throughout the day
Cons -
- It was expensive, I expected more. It was not luxurious. The walk to the pool is awful.
- Ac is pretty noisy. Bathrooms need a little refresh but clean and usable. Its quite far to the swimming pool.
- Having to queue for breakfast, disgraceful when your paying nearly 200 pound a night, never again

Location was good for us
Having to queue for breakfast, disgraceful when your paying nearly 200 pound a night, never again
The hotel was lovely. Our room was spacious and quiet. The breakfast was very good and the use of spa was nice
The pillows were very uncomfortable. I had trouble sleeping because they were causing pain to my neck. The duvet was very thin as well
I love the make over it’s had. Although the rooms lack the storage space it had before. Another thing that is missing is a mirror over a desk for women to do makeup and hair.
The pool was out of commission and the above.
The room was nice and fairly big. Very good wifi and a lot of plugs in the room, including the USB C which is rare to find, so it’s a massive plus. Easy to access from Glasgow Central Station and from the airport. Very friendly staff
The toilet probably needs to be renewed, it seems quite old. The room is quite dark, a bit more lightening probably would have been better, it was difficult to work in there when it gets dark outside. Food at the restaurant is not the best.
Recent renovation with good leisure amenities.
We couldn't open the room windows, so we had to use the air conditioner/heater, and there was a faint fume smell coming from it. Incredibly unpleasant, so we had to turn off the heater. Also, the duvet was so thin that we were cold. The bath was clogged when taking a shower, too. The food was also sub-par.
The location was great and so was the staff. The room was very clean and spacious and exceeded my expectations.
The bed was a little to hard for my liking but was still good.
Great location and facilities
Bed and covers aren’t the most comfortable
Very good location , great comfortable bed and modern breakfast was incredible and staff all extremely friendly
For what I paid I didn’t feel the room reflected on price also
Hotel was superb great location and very friendly staff. Great selection for breakfast
Nothing at all
On arrival had to wait a bit as booking wasn’t showing but did get free over night parking for the wait. Food was good
WiFi wasn’t working on tv so couldn’t watch YouTube or listen to music etc witch was a bit disappointed
I like the decor of the lobby and walking distance to the city centre. Room was spacious and clean
The Starbucks is trashy. Geared for too much to the American tourist population. Feel the identity of Glasgow is lost because of this. Also having to walk outside to use the gym / pool isn’t great in Glasgoe wet weather!
Accesable from motorway. Clean and welcoming. The staff were very helpful. Good facilities.
The main restaurant was closed the Sunday night we stayed. By the end of the evening on the two nights we stayed the bar had run out of certain popular drinks and snacks. The bar staff were very good they could no packets of snacks but went to the kitchen and brought a bowl of crisps.
Eveeyone of The hotel staff were so welcoming, helpful, took time to explain about facilities we want to give a special mention to a few people Dylan and Ross on Reception for sorting out special menu and for finding me a separate room over two nights so that my daughter had less chance of catching my cold as she has no immune system their help went above and beyond Also special thanks to Pria in the restaurant and staff in restaurant and bar a very enjoyable and relaxed stay thanks to them We will be back x
Could perhaps be few more parking spaces for people with blue badges and spaces monitored to makes sure only blue badge holders park in the allotted spaces
Friendly staff , rooms much better now since redone . Great breakfast
Location
Staff very friendly and helpful
A bit of a maze to find the pool. Slow delivery of meal in the restaurant, price a little high for food and drink.
Breakfast
No dressing gowns, staff duting the day were poor in the bar waited 20 minutes fir a coffee and pot of tea. Food was cold. Evening staff much better.
Great location, on site parking, very clean and lovely staff.
Nothing, it was great! The only criticism was the shower was quite small, but only because my husband and I are tall (6ft plus)
