Moxy Glasgow SEC

Excellent breakfast. Good variety and plenty of everything. My son especially liked the pancake machine.

Car parking is available in SECC car park (situated just behind the hotel) at half of normal price for hotel guests (£12 instead of £24 for 24 hrs) but this does not apply if you take your car out of the car park at any time during that 24 hours. Couldn't fault hotel though.

Good location close to the OVO, bar area was lovely and so was the room

Location and staff great

The breakfast wasn’t as good as last time we stayed but still nice

Was clean next to venue staff friendly breakfast great choice

Can’t think of anything except maybe more vegan choice at breakfast ?

Great locations, good sized rooms and clean. Couldn’t ask for more

The hotel was just perfect, It is gorgeous, clean, and a total vibey, which was awesome. And not only that the receptionist I wish I had asked her, her name she was amazing. Only stayed for 1 night, but that 1 night, the service, the room, and the staff means whenever I'm in Glasgow, that's where I'll be staying. Loved it !!!!

Nothing it was perfect.

Excellent breakfast, communal space, location and staff!

Pillows crap, room small.

Nice lounge bar area downstairs. Nice room and good breakfast.

Quite far from town centre but near sec.

The room, the breakfast, the staff, and the location

Even though I did not travel for work, I still needed to use my laptop in my room but there was no reading table. I wasn't comfortable using my laptop while sitting on my bed or the relaxing fancy chair in the room.

Easy check-in, friendly & helpful staff. Also, clean and tidy. Decent breakfast options and the bar food was pretty decent too!

Nothing!

Style

PriceLate chevk in discount would be good No parking and had to pay elsewhere

Great for one night stay, attending gig at SWG3. Bed was super comfy. Weather was awful and I forgot a jacket, thankfully they had a wee rent a brollies stand - life saver!

Pints were a bit flat.

I love the laid back vibe and the big spacious room we had

They didn’t cater well for celiac /gluten free sufferers which for me as one of them was disappointing

Breakfast excellent but kept running out of hot food and we had to keep asking to be refilled.

Staff should be on duty to refill food when runs out/gets low.

Location was good and rooms were nice

The breakfast wasn’t good

Location is great for anyone seeing anything at the hydro. Plenty of places to eat close to the hotel or go for their own food. Bar is nice, staff are helpful.

Was a bit hot in the room but other than that was all good

Breakfast was of great value with enough to keep me going throughout the day. Staff always know to point me in the right direction. The room is ideal for the winter season. Taxi service really helped me on the way home.

Breakfast could've done with a little more fresh fruit and a little less tinned fruit. Would be nice if there were more than one kind of bin to separate recycle waste, organic waste, and general waste.

Close to SSE hydro, nice clean room.

But if a walk to centre if your visiting for shopping but excellent for hydro.

Comfortable beds, good facilities, ease of use of TV and internet, shower was good pressure. Ample lighting and good AC, with good window for natural air flow.

Noise from outside, even when window was shut was rather loud, window backed onto the S.E.C.C carpark, car alarms/horns etc.Room only came with 1 set of pillows had to ask for me rather than some being in room already.Shower blocked up on first night (However, when raised to staff very quickly fixed!)

Location was perfect, clean

Sofa bed was very uncomfortable, mattress was sunken in the middle, i could feel the bars of the bed frame lying on the mattress, frame was creaky, every time i moved it was noisy, i tried lying at top of bed at headboard from side to side but that wasn’t comfortable either, i thought about lying on the floor on the sofa cushions as a mattress, i would have to put light on and that would disturb my sisters in the queen bed, i got 2 hrs sleep the whole night & a sore back & sides. I told staff when i checked out.
