Cons -
- I was on the first floor between the kitchen and breakfast area so it was quite loud at times. There was no soap provided to wash your hands in the bathroom and the shower drained so slowly I had to shut off the water mid shower and let it drain.
- Being put in a gross basement, the couch was gross, the beds were uncomfortable, the TV didn't work. The staff was a little helpful

Cleanliness and location.
The room was beautifully decorated and large enough for 3 adults sharing. The breakfast was delicious and very generous. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Staff were brilliant, so helpful.Great breakfast Comfortable beds
Good location in West End, near museum, nice breakfast.
Room was pretty basic and needed some maintenance. Room window would not stay open, sash pulley broken. Furniture was pressboard, nothing special. Bathroom needed a good scrub; black mold on shower head and shower hose, black mold in grout, towel rack was rusty and bent, sink would not drain properly, ceiling fan had an accumulation of dust, No parking near inn. Parking is an issue, we lucked out and found a spot in front and only because they were going to do maintenance to roadway, and cars had to be moved by 9:00 a.m. This was disclosed, but inn manager said there is available parking that is a 10-15 min walk. When we moved our car at 9:00 we tried to find parking there, but every spot was taken, and people were circling to find a spot. There are coin pay car parks, but the closest one had a 4 hour limit. We had planned to go into downtown Glasgow, but since we couldn't find parking, we went to the museum instead. They had parking.
Great location in the west end very close to the botanic gardens.
Our room with 3 single beds was in the basement which was disappointing was small and the beds were not of good quality and uncomfortable. I would not choose to stay in this room again and apparently all of the triple room are in the basement.

It was a small room but it was everything I needed. The bed was very comfy, the bathroom was immaculate, the staff were very nice and helpful and it was very quiet so I was able to sleep very well.
I wish there was a lift...
The location was great and close to great restaurants.
We were placed in a basement room that looked out to a nasty and dirty underground alley type of area. The view was terrible. Made us hesitate keep the windows open because of this.
Location - near Botanical Gardens.
Promised breakfast but it was dreadful. Coffee drinks came from powdered packets, breakfast was skimpy and hot food was set out early and stayed out til everyone ate - not at all fresh or good. Rooms were really small and could have been charming if anyone cared for them, but they didn't. Wallpaper in one room was peeling. Bathroom amenities were a joke.
Location and the helpful staff.
Mould on bathroom roof. Which wasn’t real bad.
Location, location, location! Perfectly situated on the GWR. Walking distance to the Subway, the Botanical Gardens, Byres Road, and the University of Glasgow. Hot shower, strong water pressure, and clean bathrooms and bedding.
Very thin walls, uncomfortable bed (a mattress topper would fix it!).
My requests, like to show me how to open the window and to change the towels after four days, were met by the staff in good spirits.
During the first days of my stay, the weather was exceptionally hot, and the air in the room was stuffy. However, the window was old, it opened only partially and additionally it was not easy to handle.
LOVED the staff. One of the guys showed us cat videos and let us choose between rooms. Breakfast was good. The building was nice, beds comfortable, and bathroom clean with good water pressure. Across the road was a restaurant or two, gelato, and a pharmacy. The botanical garden was right by.
Location
The room was Dated, Carpet worn, the Beds long past there prime (mine rolled to one side), the doorway to the bathroom I had to turn sideways to get in and out
I enjoyed nothing about this hotel other than the location and the front entrance of the hotel. At least the facade looked nice.
Such a waste to use this beautiful building for this bad accommodation. Looked charming on the photos, but was not up to expectations. The furniture is the cheapest they could get, 20 years ago. The bed was dreadful, woke up more tired than the night before. The staff at the desk were not unfriendly, but exceptionally uninterested and not very welcoming. I would strongly advise to look for accommodation elsewhere, do not waste your money - or more importantly - your time here.
Location was good. A few blocks from the metro station. Only stayed 1 night so sufficient for our needs. Kept our bags while we wandered around until our room was ready.
Room was sufficient for the price. We stayed in the room next to the dining room. Window faced a wall, so we kept the curtain closed. Room felt dark. There was a plug-in portable heater we used for heat in the room. Overall for one night it was fine for what we paid.
The room I stayed in had what looked like previous damp/ mould affected walls and had not been fully been decorated
There were loads of noises coming from the corridor area which due to the bad location of the room. The tv did not work at all. No signal on each channel.
