Ashtree House Hotel, Glasgow Airport & Paisley

A short taxi ride from Glasgow airport, rooms were beautiful and breakfast was delicious. Maureen's personal tips for things to do in Paisley were helpful. The Ashtree House is one of the highlights of our visit to the UK. Highly recommend.

The staff went out there way to help. It was charming and peaceful in a great location.

Paint was peeling off the walls in room #12 and the toilet seat was broken. The "shuttle" was a local taxi company, which I had to pay for. Photographs available upon request.

It's an older building, so upkeep and maintenance I'm sure is a challenge.

Charming, great location - close to airport but also walkable to local restaurants and shops. Room was very comfortable and clean, bed was especially comfortable.

Turns out they don¿t have shuttle service to the airport super early in the morning, so I had to take a taxi, but it was only about £10.

Charming Home and within walking distance of a beautiful church and abbey. Staff was excellent and so helpful! Would definitely stay here again.

Ashtree House felt like we were visiting a friend's home. It was the last day of our Scotland vacation, we were tired and had toured Glasgow all day in the rain, & our room was absolutely perfect. We could not have ended a great vacation any better way!

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, good breakfast, excellent location for our purpose.

Nothing that caused us a problem. We knew before we went that there was no lift but one would have been nice after some of our long walks!

The room was very comfortable. Had great sleep no noise. The shower was excellent. Staff courteous friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included but we did not partake. Close to all amenities. We loved it and will be back again. 10/10.

We have used this hotel many times when flying from Glasgow but think it’s now in need of some upgrading as it’s getting a bit tired in places

A lovely little guest house with all the amenities and very close to the town centre. Was staying to attend a wedding round the corner and it was a perfect base. Room was huge, bed comfy and bathroom was spotless. Shower was excellent too. Also the hotel has free parking for guests which is great. Staff I spoke with were very hospitable and just generally very nice people. Would recommend and would stay again

It’s very central, quiet and comfortable.

We had a slight problem getting in the first night, although it was the evening of Christmas Day!

Staff all very friendly and attentative. Good facilities and value for money.

The hotel is amazing; quiet, tastefully decorated and really feels like a home from home.

Two things. I couldn’t master the shower (short of scalding myself) and the fact that dinner was not available on the two evenings of my stay.

I really liked the cosy, friendly atmosphere of the hotel. We enjoyed a very warm welcome, and the decor was lovely. Our room was large and comfy.

There was very little I didn't like.

We were staying overnight after a local wedding. The owners were incredibly welcoming and offered to take some photos of us dressed up in our gladrags. The hotel was beautfully finished, cosy and welcoming, breakfast was delicious with lots of options

Location is perfect for me - secluded and quiet and a very short walk to train, shops etcBreakfast - I’m coeliac so can’t eat everything - is the best you’ll find anywhere in Renfrewshire !Just my opinion

My room was on the top floor,, not a big deal but stairs were very narrow and wouldn’t suit everyone

Very generously sized rooms and refurbished shower toilet. High quality. Furniture and original features such as sash windows. A very warm welcome. And good off road parking.

The wallpaper and ceilings need redecoration. Some of it is peeling.
