Pros +
- Quiet nice room, fab dinner!
- Room size was good, comfy bed, staff were lovely.
- The spa facilities and quality of food were excellent. But don’t expect a quiet experience in the spa . Our experience of the spa, was quite wild, lots of well fuelled parties going on, taking full advantage of the on site bar.
Cons -
- Cooked breakfast wasn't good and no fridge in room.
- We were put in accessible room, bathroom set up wasn’t suitable for us, it was disappointing. It’s also poor that guests of the hotel now have to pay to use swimming pool. £25 for a swim is excessive, I had no intention of using the other spa facilities. For price of room, breakfast should have been included.
- The bar where we had food was freezing as well as the corridors were so cold. Had to move from one bar to another in the hope that it would be warm. Our room had been roasting so surprised by the rest of the hotel being so cold. Hotel very poorly signposted- you could get very lost. Also the colour/dirtiness of the chairs in the bar was pretty disgusting. Als sadly no bath and no fridge in the room.

The views & spa although maybe a Friday night is not the best time to use it
Paid £171 for one night & £50 for 2 of us for spa. Didn't get breakfast included in that. I think breakfast should have been included.
This was my second stay. I really enjoyed dinner and breakfast. Spa is also very nice
In our room this time TV was not the best as we could not get any apps on it also our phones could not get connected to TV .
Lovely building, clean and spacious
I would have given it a 10 if the spa facilities were included. The gym needs an upgrade as well.
I liked the new spa
Our room was cold we also had a lot of noise early in the morning drilling banging which wasn’t good also the bar was shut down which was really disappointing I’ve been to gleddoch a number of times and love it but the noise was off putting :(
We had an amazing time staff where lovely from arriving.food at the restaurant was top class we where there from Friday to Sunday for valentine's weekend.Booked the spa and pool for 7am glad we didn't was a great time to be outside in the jacuzzi.
Tbh there wasn't anything we didn't like .
The property is absolutely beautiful inside and out, our room had the hot tub in it Witch was a beautiful Surprise. And staff was lovely.
The bar was pretty expensive and you don’t get nibblesLike crisps and nuts.
We had an amazing experience at Gleddoch Hotel & Spa — honestly, two hours in the spa felt far too short. The Drum Bar was a real highlight. The bartender, originally from Hungary (I believe his name was Jonas), gave a brilliant whisky presentation and talked us through some really interesting facts about the production process. It felt personal, engaging, and added something special to the evening.Dinner was lovely — a really nice restaurant with a beautiful view and very friendly, attentive staff. Everything we had was thoroughly enjoyable. Breakfast the next morning was just as good, made even better by a very kind and welcoming lady who served us — such a lovely start to the day.The spa itself was a real wow factor, both visually and practically. Everything felt well thought out and luxurious. The sauna heat was properly high, which was a big bonus for us, and the cold plunge was fantastic — refreshing and invigorating.Overall, a wonderful experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend Gleddoch golf &spa to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable spa break.
There was small things to be fixed in the room as tiles and some cosmetic things but nothing major.Spa extra charge for 2 hours . £25 per person and you can only use it once for that price . In general when you book hotel the pool is included but not in this case.
I have stayed at gleddock previously and on 2 occasions purchased overnights as presents for family members. It’s a wonderful hotel and spa. Iv knocked it down a little on ratings as 2025 out spa access was free with stay and now you have to purchase this separately
Rooms are very comfortable
Much better than many hotels . If you are choosing between this and ingliston . Stay here . Why? Because the rooms are properly heated , food is great and staff a lot better .
The fact is full price for a breakfast for an infant . No difference between an 18 month old tiny portion and an adult
Location,interior and stunning views
Have to book spa in advance
Very good value for money and felt really looked after from the staff for the full stay, so much that we have booked another 2 nights in April.
A little bit too long waiting to get served in the restaurant.
Amazing hotel Fab food and location Spa amazing
Nothing - Danielle the manager was fantastic She even walked my dog !
Spa facilities were brilliant and plenty to offer, rooms were clean and very comfortable, staff are really friendly and look after you.
Price of breakfast is poor, £20pp is very steep considering there’s not a great deal of variety. We were the 1030am sitting, there was no white bread left, very little choice of pastries and the Scottish breakfast alone was never worth £20pp Prices need to be reconsidered for guests in future.
Hotel was very nice and staff friendly. We were in a twin room which was nice.Spa was amazing.
It was obviously a kingsize bed there originally as the headboard didn't match/fit the beds! Also the duvet inside the duvet covers seemed to be too small for the cover, so not as comfortable as it should have been!Unfortunately we had a couple in the next room to us who decided to have a "full scale barney" when they arrived at there room for about 15 mins then proceeded to carry it on about 3am for about another 15 mins. So sadly blighted our stay quite a bit!
Staff were fantastic room excellent and facilities first class
Very minor really but felt lighting in restaurant and bar could have been slightly more subdued for a cosier atmosphere
The spa is fantastic and excellent Salford money. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Restaurant is also great.
There are a few areas that still need a little updating. The sink in our bathroom was cracked, wardrobe door didn't work and some parts of the hotel really need re-wallpapered as its peeled in areas and been patched. However id definitely stay again as these minor things didn't impact my stay.
Spa is amazing
The bed are not comfortable, and rooms are dated.
