Courtyard by Marriott Glasgow SEC

Lovely modern decoration, comfortable room and super helpful staff. We brought our dog with us and he was fussed over by all staff which made us feel very welcome.Breakfast was lovely as usual!

Mattress slightly hard but this is personal preference.

The location was ideal, The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly.

Very nice hotel,all staff were nice and friendly. Room was big spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Buffet breakfast was realy good.

Dinner menu was very small,however food quality was brilliant

Beautiful hotel, clean, warm, nice food, waiting staff and bar staff friendly.

When we checked in we were unaware of maintenance being carried out, it was very noisy with drilling at the window of our room on and off the day we arrived and was starting again as we were leaving to check out. I contacted reception the day we arrived and the girl on the phone was very rude and basically told me that because I booked through booking.com I had to complain to you because it wasn't her problem that I wasn't informed about the essential maintenance.Also when we got up from our table at breakfast for about 1 minute, to get some juice when we returned to the table it had already been cleaned away and we weren't even finished with our food or coffee and had to go get another.

Lovely room, nice and comfortable

A workman let themselves into our room with a keycard and announced it was the wrong room whilst my husband and was getting charged! then the following morning he workman stopped outside our room on their lift which was very uncomfortable as they could see in the room. If we wanted to have stayed in bed and check out later it would have been a real inconvenience

Super close to the hydro, bed was clean. Spare toilet rolls and towels in the room.Lots of facilities, bar.The staff were super friendly and accommodating. There was an initial issue with our room and the staff were very helpful.There’s building work going on which needs done to maintain and then upgrade the hotel and this was dealt with very well ie builders having their own lift and our room being far away from it

Carpets in the room need steamed

Easy walking to the SEC for events and parking easy and accessible plus discounted which was good.

Nothing was as expected

It was super close to the venue. Staff were nice, helpful people. Receptionist, barman and the door guy in particular. Great people. Breakfast was pretty epic, lots of variety. Good chef. Lots of other food options nearby. Rooms were comfortable. The tv is accommodating to mobile devices, easy to watch Netflix etc. Great. Easy stay overall.

Some construction worker just walked into our room.

Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff, our room was spotless and comfortable, food in the restaurant was delicious, very central to access all arenas for events, would definitely recommend and we will return at a later date.

The good was delicious but perhaps a bit more choice on the dinner menu would be nice

Friendly staff who gave very helpful tips for parking and the nearby area. Room was plenty big with comfy bed and spacious shower. Clean as can be and AC worked a dream on the hot days

Not much went wrong, just the cleaners accidentally taking away the bathroom floor mat. Otherwise all good

Re furbished double deluxe rooms nicely furnished, very comfortable bed , good bathroom and shower ideal location for Glasgow ovo a bit concerned no actual hotel car parking but discounted parking in adjacent event multistorey Enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend if going to a show in Ovo

Would like parking arrangements explained/ stated clearly in the hotel facilities lucky that spaces were available as several events taking place on day of stayEating breakfast area very busy and didn't seem big enough to accommodate a fully booked hotel

Great location, close to the Hydro. Comfortable previous stay

Big divot in bed. Almost like damage from previously being jumped on. Incredibly uncomfortable sleep. Marks on chair, broken bed light, carpets stained (to be fair hotel in process of replacing) and torn duvet. To top it, the validation of parking did not work so had to pay full parking price (had to leave on time so couldn't return to hotel)

Every single member of staff were fantastic. All either very helpful, friendly or a simple smile and a hello. Breakfast was great, and convenient for Hydro as only across the road Rooms were large,super comfy and very clean. Bathroom was modern, walk in shower with seat. Car was parked n multi storey, which was a two minute walk to hotel. Price was £12 which is extra.
