Pros +
- The Clift Guest House was very good for the price. I would not say it's a three star accomodation, but the room was clean and had character, the bed comfortable enough, the location was near bus routes to the centre, and the kitchen was clean and useful.
- Nice people and it was clean and quiet, which is just what I needed.
Cons -
- The only issue we had was that the keys to the rooms, which were meant to unlock the outside door as well as the room doors, did not unlock the outside door when we came back from a night in town. Deadlocked at a certain time, or just difficult to unlock?
- No toiletries in the rooms and the carpet was definitely old.
- Occasional street noise, but the windows are very thick, so if they are closed it is quiet.
