Super clean and efficient! Self check in was a breeze. Also had a super cool window you could sit in and people watch. Had a great experience!

Everything was great, sadly we missed out of the free beers as they were all gone by the time we arrived. That wss the only downside. Fantastic location, and very comfortable. Lived the style of the room and the wee personal additions like the dialect descriptions.

Nice big rooms & conveniently situated opposite the station. Comfortable beds!

Wi-fi is very poor & couldn’t get the tv to work due to the lack of internet connection.

Very central and perfect for what we wanted. There where 3 of us and the room was huge. The beds very comfortable i really enjoyed staying there. We were not expecting such a big comfortable room

    9GerardoPosted on: 2-14-2026

The room was really good actually, it was pretty big.

There was one thing i didn't like and it was the toilet room, because when I took a shower the floor outside the room was wet and we had to dry it with the towels. even if you close right the door the water still going outside the shower

    2NiamhPosted on: 2-14-2026

    The room was spacious.

Difficulty at checking in. We waited for ages and staff were of no help.

    8GerardPosted on: 2-13-2026

Great location. Bus and train right outside front door. Abundance of food outlets near also. Room was excellent with plenty of floor space.

Self check in, therefore no staff on hand incase of queries etc.

    8MarkPosted on: 2-9-2026

    Location prices warm friendly staff

No plug sockets beside the bed and paper cups and a wooden stick to stir your coffee

    4TonyPosted on: 2-7-2026

    Nothing much was disappointing

Smoke alarm light flashing rite above our bed all night, room beside an alley where people from other businesses where throwing rubbish out at all hours of the morning, drunks fight in alley, could hear everything even with windows fully shut, kettle had no plug beside it had to be moved into beside table to use and it was covered in dust, pillows far to small like something you would get on your sofa

    Room was nice

I light in bedroom working only Window broken and unable to close itNoise level was terrible as a result

Eat and drank in the bar, it was all 10/10

I didn’t realise how many stairs there were to my room

    10RobinsonPosted on: 1-27-2026

I loved the self check in and free beer on arrival. The room was spacious and comfortable. I loved the little reading nook at the window. The bar downstairs was nice and vibey.

It was a bit of a walk from the city centre but I didn’t mind as there was still loads of things very close.

    Didn't have breakfast

Could have been more milk and non decaffeinated t-bags

    8PatPosted on: 1-26-2026

Large ,warm comfortable room with bottle water supplied for tea making Great hot shower

Wasn't told no lift and 3 floors of stairs not good with bad knees .I put this down to booking.Com who didn't highlight that fact .meant once in room didn't fancy going out .

    5MichaelPosted on: 1-25-2026

    Location and price were exceptional.

The room suffered from a poor drainage smell, and a radiator noise. Proper cups would have been appreciated as paper cups just don't make for a great service. On the plus side the room was clean and for the price point offered exceptional value.

    8KevinPosted on: 1-21-2026

Clean, tidy, close to the city

    The lack of parking

    8FabiennePosted on: 1-21-2026

Very generously sized room with a good shower and a comfortable bed. The self check-in was painless and fast. Unbearable price for a room with a private bathroom (in January).

The location is very 'lively', despite our stay being on an ordinary Monday people were shouting and laughing loudly outside until around 3am. I like sleeping with an open window, which was really not possible here without earplugs. Also: this was not a problem for us, but the hotel has no lift, so people with a lot of luggage might not find this ideal.
