Cheap & cheerful, comfy bed close to amenities

Lack of sockets, we travel with a disabled child and have multiple things to plug in at night. Half half the sockets in our room were not working and weren't located near the bed

Ideal location, friendly reception staff

The room was quite cold, I don't think we quite understood how to make the radiator stay on. But not really a problem or we would have raised it while we were there

Excellent hotel with good sized room and comfy bed. Very quiet. Parking outside the front door. Short walk to the city.

The floor in the room I was staying in was completely soaken. The room smelt of damp from this. I’ve woke up after my nights stay with a flu feeling very unwell. This has been from sleeping in a room with a soaken floor. When asked to switch rooms no other rooms were available. Very disappointed with the stay.

Bad

The room had not been cleaned properly, there were pizza boxes left in the wardrobe. The property is a value hotel but cleanliness should still be important. When I mentioned at check out I was thanked for letting them know. There was no apology and no offer of any compensation to make up for the disappointment in the standards.

Bed was comfortable

The room stank of stale smoke - worse I have ever smelled!!!Also TV didn’t work. First guy on reception - felt like he was prying! Such a bad experience- We won’t ever return !!!

Very affordable price for a comfy clean bed within a 20 minute walk to the city centre. Clean bathroom with plenty of towels

The room was very very hot and we didn’t see to have any control over the temperature. There are no plugs beside the beds which isn’t the end of the world but a little annoying

Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water.

Would have been nice to have a small fridge. Not enough tea and coffee for two nights stay.

Property is in a great location, staff are really helpful and friendly, rooms are clean and value for money. Car parking is available too at an additional cost.

I have stayed here a couple of times and really can’t fault the staff or the facilities but for some reason my room this time smelt of stale cigarette smoke. After leaving the window open for a while the smell lessened but otherwise excellent stay.
