- Staff was excellent and very pleasant, even during the height of the busy season! Beds were very comfortable!
- Location to Royal mile and old town is exceptional
Cons -
- We weren’t able to check in before 3:00 and after an international flight that arrived at 8, it’d have been nice to have some flexibility, but they stored our luggage securely.
- Bathroom is a little small
- Interior of rooms was dated with plank floors cracked and chipping. View was less than ideal

Hotel is close to the main tourist avenue in Edinburgh, and is centrally located. Nearby convenience stores & food shops make dining easy.
It's just two blocks from the Royal Mile but it is at the top of the hill, so keep in mind if you are carrying a lot of luggage from the train station or airport buses, you're going uphill to get to the hotel. (A cab would be helpful to remedy this).
