Hotel La Caravella

Very nice area, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable.

AC sometimes didn’t work properly. No balcony as advertised.

Super clean, very good value for money especially during design week. Excellent location right by buses, trams, and a metro station. In a safe and calm neighbourhood.

Had the room in the lobby right by the reception counter so I could hear when people were there. And since I was on the ground floor the room could get a bit noisy with the windows open. But it wasn't that much of an issue to be honest.

The hotel room was very clean and well kept, despite old equipment. Everything worked in the bathroom, plenty of clean towels and bedsheets. The room was cleaned regularly, location is convenient for the price, not far away from a tram stop. Hot water.

In my room there was no air conditioner, despite advertisement, and there was no breakfast. When I asked the attendant about the breakfast he just shrugged it off. So the advertisement on booking.com is misleading. It's been really cold inside in October, but central heating was still off. So I had to sleep in socks with all the blankets I could find. Also it was the tiniest bathroom I've ever seen, but I don't mind that, fine for me.

Clean, close to transportation and some good restaurants nearby. Staff friendly and available. Safe area and secure location.

What I didn't like is the bathroom and toilet was very small,and the fact the hotel didn't offer breakfast.

The male owner of the hotel is extremely rude and unprofessional. It’s a shame since the staff is amazing and the place is very well taken care off.

Location is nice

We booked a room with two single beds but got one with a double. The lady at the reception was helpful, tried to solve our problem but there were no free room with the setup we requested. She called the owner and he didn’t even tried to solve our problem but explaining we can rent another room for full price, instead of paying back the extra 11 EUR for booking not a double but two single beds. Terrible attitude.

the room was too expensive for the quality of the service the bed wasn't really confortable that's subjective of course. The staff was not welcoming or helpful. It's possible at night to hear people talking from the reception.

We had anything that you need for 1 day stay in the hotel. Room was tiny, but clean. Host helped us to leave the luggage before moving in. As well, we had a chance to enjoy bird’s singing from the small balcony we had

Good-sized bed, room size adequate, enough electrical outlets, earlier check-in than normal. Friendly, accommodating staff.

Shower was tiny! Noise in the reception area late into the night.

Disappointing

staff was not present during check-in. spent 30 minutes sitting on the asphalt in front of the hotel. it's hot, I imagine what hell it is there in the summer. everything in the room is so old, as if from 1980. the hotel is not worthy of attention at any price

Mattress is very old needs change. Walls are very thin we could hear a lot of noise and loud voices coming from the whole building at night. (that depends on how loud the guests are)

Very poor

Whenever we needed air conditioning we had to ask for it, and they would turn it off after a few hours without telling us. Initially they told us how to turn it on, but when it didn't work they said it was cold at night and we wouldn't need it. Only after insisting several times did they turn it on. The same story was repeated the next day.
