Lancaster Hotel

If you’re looking to escape the busy tourist areas and enjoy a quiet, refined local stay with a pleasant morning walk, this is a place I highly recommend.For early risers, the walk through Sforzesco Castle all the way to the Duomo is especially enjoyable in the morning. The hotel is also very close to Cadorna Station, making it extremely convenient when using the Malpensa Express—especially for those traveling with heavy luggage, as a short taxi ride from the station costs around €6–7.Public transportation is easily accessible with a nearby tram stop, and above all, the staff are exceptionally kind and welcoming. Room cleaning is done daily (which is becoming rare these days, as many hotels clean every two days). I actually felt a bit sorry—and very grateful—when I returned to find the room spotless after leaving it slightly messy.Highly recommended for those who appreciate a classic, elegant Milanese hotel experience.

Breakfast was very good. Staff was exceptional.

The parking was far away with extra charge to park.

Good location, staff went above and beyond. We checked out early on our last day and the staff were helpful, made us coffee and ensured we were ready for the day.

This hotel is a very good value. The location is great. The staff are helpful and welcoming. The breakfast buffet contains many good choices with fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese and eggs. The hotel is very clean and charming. We loved our balcony with the fresh flowers and Christmas lights!

Parking/driving is not the easiest in Milan. The staff were very helpful in guiding us to a lot where we could stash the car during our stay. It was about a ten minute walk away, although there was no issue with unloading and loading up our car upon arrival and departure.

My second time here. Personal is really friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable und since last time I was here they invested into the heating system. It’s nice and clean too.Breakfast is also good and for a small hotel a lot of choice.

Unfortunately the hotel is very far from any metro station. But the Center of the city is reachable by feet and you can always call a taxi.I also think that it is highly overpriced. There are really tiny rooms in this hotel, so you really need to pay attention which room you book and which room you finally get.

Lovely property in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. The location is perfect, very close to tram lines so it is easy to access the entire city, but still quiet and residential. The staff were welcoming, friendly, professional, and helpful. I already have a booking to stay here again, it was that perfect.

Their breakfast, room, service, staff, cleanliness, free bar, toiletries, and location were exceptional. This stay exceeded my expectations

The people in the room next to us were loud. We did tell the desk but they continued to be very loud.

Location was good, rooms were clean and modernized (still old school but without the 500-people-stepped-on-this look), staff was friendly, breakfast was good

This was our first stop in Italy and we loved the Location., Staff.m, Comfy beds, quiet room and the breakfast was delicious.

Italy has rules about air conditioning this time of year and it was a little warm at night. Nothing against the hotel but good to know for others.

Rooms are a liitle bit old fashioned and small. There was no electric kettle and glasses in the room but all drinks in fridge were free, so it was nice.

Loved how caring and nice the whole personal is. The girls in the check in were so helpful and when travelling alone that’s a plus. Also the area is 10/10

Beautiful hotel located on a quiet street in Milan. The kindest staff, which is available 24 hours. Complimentary breakfast. It’s a vintage hotel. Take that for what you will!
