Pros +

  • The location is convenient and has some events every day
  • Very nice location, friendly staff and nice, spacious lobby with the bar. The only thing that could've been better was the heating in the room as well as in the bathroom. Check in and check out very fast. Great communication with the hostel!
  • Very clean room.

Cons -

  • Stayed at top bed, which the metal plate covers at the ladder going up bed are dangerous. The lift doors were left open several occasions on another floor, which stop people from using the lift and the staff did not seem to fix it despite having CCTV
  • Having to rent towels (shower towels to dry off with) seems absolutely ridiculous. I?ve never experienced a hotel or hostel requiring guests to pay to get a body-towel.
  • A significant portion of the staff did not possess English language proficiency. My request for an additional blanket was unfortunately overlooked by the staff.

Definitely the staff! They were exceptionally helpful and nice. I was traveling alone for the first time and they totally helped me a lot. They were genuinely kind and supportive. Honestly they totally made my stay because I only stayed two days so I didn’t have a chance to engage in socially at all, even though it was a short stay they were totally the best staff I’ve ever seen so far. (Thank you so much guys??). Cleaning.. Room was very clean, the hostel in general was exceptionally clean. It was very hygienic and clean that I could walk on the surface barefoot :) I was actually very happy that everything was very clean. Also location was very good, walking from Milan Cathedral to the hostel, the route was safe, I used google maps but compared to my other experiences the route felt safer. It is near to metro stations or public transportation and close to the city’s main attractions. I personally mostly prefer walking and location made my trip a lot easier. If you are coming from Bergamo Airport you can also easily access to the hostel. You can take a bus to Milan Centrale, and then you can take the metro to duomo station (Milan cathedral) and walk 10 minutes to the hostel. total journey would be 1,5 hour probably which is perfect compared to how far the airport is, the hostel was accessible easily.

The room was a bit cold but the air was always fresh.

Words can’t describe how good this place is. From the ambience of the place to the cleanliness and comfiness of the rooms to the great location of this hostel ,and most importantly, the great staff, especially Mrs Amna. This place feels like home. It’s perfect, I will definitely come again

Everything was perfect

Couldn’t recommend it more. The staff was amazing and the place with the terrace is really nice. It’s around a 10min walk from dtown

Location is good. Storage in the basement after check out. Kitchen with basic appliances upstairs! Bathrooms inside the room has two toilets which helps with waiting time and there are additional ones in the hallway.

No privacy curtains so when someone turns on their night light, the light bounces off the walls and it feels like the whole room is lit up and messes with your sleep. Noticeable wear and tear from the years.

I had such a great stay here! The place is really close to the city center and super easy to get around. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I also loved that you can store your luggage after check-out for free. The beds are comfy, the rooms are clean, and they clean them every day. There’s a kitchen where you can cook or heat up food, and the common area is really nice especially the balcony, perfect for chilling and enjoying the sun.My favorite part was the room with the TV where you can watch whatever you want. And honestly, the best thing ever for me was the flexible hose in the toilet ?That alone made me love this hostel.I’d definitely stay here again!

That’s lively and close to the Duomo and everything, the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Gerardo. Shout out to him.

Nothing that comes to mind really

The place was clean but they could do better. overall the staff was nice and mostly helpful.

The first night they had a problem with my room(6 people) and they moved me to a 8 bedroom(full) room. didn't get any compensation. the staff was nice and they might didn't have a different room but I still think they could do a bit more.

Very neat and clean with comfortable beds, everyone has separate locker provided key by reception, happy hours and breakfast with only 7.5 euro. In lobby sitting arrangement was very good overall happy.

They should provide washroom sleeper.

The price for the location.

I feel uncomfortable with sharing the bathrooms with men.. I meant if the bathrooms are clean then sure I can use them. But the men living in the same room with me, they put there stuffs in the bathroom, and if you want to use the toilet, you have to pass through the bathroom first, the feeling of sharing the same space while showing doesn’t make me comfortable. So I went to the shared bathroom upstairs, but when I used it, the shampoo is already empty. And the floor was dirty. The kitchen was dirty as well. The staffs were not nice, they just tried to completely their works. I tried to search for a space that I can do my work, but the light kept turning off automatically after 10 sec, which was very annoying.

Everything is perfect. Good prices, convenient location, clean, nice bathroom facilities.

Maybe it could improve by asking residents not to gather outside the rooms after a certain time.

10IgorPosted on: 12-8-2025

Staff was great, the rooms are big and the bathrooms contain separate parts for different uses. The whole place is in a huge old house which definitely gives off an Italian vibe.

The breakfast could benefit from some veggies :) But it was pretty decent nonetheless.

This was my first hostel experience, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better. The location was perfect and made getting around Milan very easy. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and well-organized. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. I felt very welcomed during my stay. The common areas were also really nice and had a great vibe.

There wasn’t anything I really disliked. Everything met my expectations and I had a very good stay.

Close to many great sites and easy walking to Centro and the tram. A kitchen was useful.

We had a lot of mosquitoes in our room which made it very uncomfortable and we were all bitten a lot at night.
