Hotel Salus

It was cheap, but not as good a quality as other cheap hostels I've stayed in, which were quite excellent to be honest. Could have done much better for the same price or just a little bit more.

The restrooms were nasty! So was the shower, and the room had things that were falling apart, like the outlets.

Discrimination

Police knocked my door 3am to check my documents, exactly 3am overnight. I was sleeping with underwear, full of headache, woke up scaried and I was questioned for about 30 minutes. I definitely lost my night for nothing and I had to travel early the next day.

Everything was nice and clean. The staff was super nice and polite. Great location, you have metro and a bus stop right next to the hotel. There are also markets and cafes really close. Overall, if you l are looking for more affordable hotel in milan this is the perfect one for you. If i go to milan again i will stay at this hotel again for sure

it was clean and the staff was amazing!

very very hot during the summer! there no ac, and there is a fan, it just doesn’t work well at all. we were sweating all night long and even going to the room couldn’t keep us cool in the Milan heat.

Facilities were the worst because the room doesn’t have any fan and it was very hot at this time plus the shower head was broken and the towels smelled so bad

Awful awful - no sleep!! Loud all night!!! Probably only 2 rooms booked and right next to us, and so loud! With our daughter and we all wanted to leave in the middle of the night!!! Hotel is disgusting and so disappointing!!

Was a cheap option for 3 nights in Milan, room only. Bed was comfortable.Quiet location, close to metro station.Did exactly what I wanted.

Would of liked kettle in room to make a drink when I woke up, but not to great a problem as supermarket 2 minute walk away had cafe open at 7am in week & 8am on Sunday.

I stayed already the second time in this hotel and I was satisfied. I would recommend it to the other customers. Very friendly people and a great location. It is very close to the center.

Very dirty with cigarettes inside of the bedroom, bad smell and for keep the luggage we had that pay €15

The location was good for in terms of going around Milan and the city, since you are close to the metro. the staff were friendly and they made the room look tidy.

The noise from street was unbearable and I couldn’t sleep most of the time because of the constant shouting and ambulances going past during the night

The location is very good, walking distance to metro station and supermarket, the staff were very friendly and very helpful, they helped me get a taxi whenever i needed one and they helped me check in earlier when they had the room ready, and they were very welcoming.

Mold, bathroom in very bad condition. Mattresses and pillows worn out. If the rooms would be renovated, it would be a nice budget hotel.

There was no lift to the first floor which was difficult to climb. That was not mentioned anywhere. The rooms are very old and not clean, there was no enough light, blankets are not clean. Should not be included in Booking.com kind of site. We expect a minimum standard to the hotels we book through Booking.com

The hotel was close to the metro and a big supermarket.

It was very cold in the room, we had to sleep in hoodies and socks on. The sheets were dirty and stank… Towels were ripped in some places. The door to our room was so hard to close that you had to use quite some strength, and when you actually get to close it the window opens in the other side…We could not shower when we arrived as there was mo hot water. When we called the staff, we got this written paper

The location is good, with a metro stop nearby. The bed is comfortable, and the room is spacious.

The walls are thin, so there was a lot of noise from both the street and other guests in the hotel. The windows are not well-insulated, making the room cold and noisy. An extra blanket would have been helpful. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling. Additionally, you have to leave the keys at the reception every time you leave the hotel.
