Best Western Hotel Madison

Mostly friendly staff, clean rooms. Close to train station and good restaurants.

This hotel does not offer an actual shuttle to the airport. They offer to call a can for you, or tell you about the train and bus systems to get there. Misleading in my opinion.

Person at the front counter was very helpful and went above and beyond. Breakfast and location is good!

Excellent staff. Very accommodating. Easy walk, even with luggage, from the train station.

Confusing A/C system. We never could get it to work.

It was cold in the room( no heating was on), there was no minibar, the room needed a renovation, no slippers in the room

Funky bathroom. Strange shower that floods floor. Toilet flush was broken.

Hotel was decent and close th central station. Not too much around the area for dining or shopping so getting on the subway is a must. Parking is AWFUL and if you can't find street parking you will have to pay 25 euros for a parking lot overnight.

T he location is the best part of the hotel = it is close to the train station and centrally located. The staff was nice but if you have a quick question be prepared to wait the other customers are taken care of.

The internet was awful = difficult to set up then turned off at least twice a day so you had to reload the passwords etc.i thought breakfast was included but no so i was charged10 Euro's each day and10 for the city tax = Italy that is all included.

Super small room, definitely not 4 star hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Very close to the train station.

Great staff, located near Milano Centrale Station and decent room.

The temperature in our room was too high and even after repeated attempts by staff to lower it, it just couldn't be done. Had to open the window which looked like it was about to fall off the hinges!

Safe and very conveniently located close to the Milan Central Station. Hotel is very clean, updated and spacious bedroom and bathroom with modern design.

Great location in reference to Centrale.

Thin walls, our neighbours on one side started to watch the Wizard of Oz at midnight one night. It was loud enough for me to clearly hear all the songs. The neighbours on the other side laughed and talked until 3am.

Location

We stayed in a family room with a king bed and a single bed which is quite rare to find in Italy. The room was spacious. We had issues with the shutters on the first night and it felt like a spotlight was on our room. The staff were very understanding and moved us to a different room the next day which made a huge difference in our stay. The location was good for us with easy access to city transit and lots of food choices at the central station.

The bed was very firm! The price was high because of the Olympics and there were many small maintenance problems in the rooms. Our safe didn’t work and while the tried to fix it we still couldn’t get it to work. The drains smelled a bit (usual for Europe), the shelf in the shower was broken, the light in the closet didn’t work, the shutters I mentioned.

The overall ambience of the hotel.Nice and welcoming staff.Comfortable beds.Very good location near the central station, walking distance from the city center and old town.

Nice friendly front desk & dining room staff, along with house keeping. I liked the adjoining balcony patio to my room although no view.

No gym facilities. Carpet's in hallways could use a cleaning.

Room was very nice and a good size; nice shower and bathroom space. Staff was very nice and helpful.

There was construction noise starting at 8am as they are working on the upper floors. Didn’t really affect us; but beware.
