    Pros +

    • The interior lobby is beautiful. The room is on the larger side for Italian/European hotel standards, and included a couch. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice and roomy.
    • The hotel is located next to the Unipol Forum arena, which was extremely convenient for us to watch the Olympic Games event and have a late night stay.
    • Location, garage

    Cons -

    • The mosquitos INSIDE the room were TERRIBLE! We killed 3 alone before sleeping, and were eaten up overnight. Learned the vengeance of Italians mosquitos the hard way. Shower was clogged. It was hard to cool the room down. Staff wasn't the friendliest.
    • The hotel and the grounds are worn out, old, and poorly maintained. The rooms were also worn, and had an old musty smell, possibly even mold. I did NOT stay at the property even though they would not offer me a refund. I suggest you stay elsewhere.
    • I have never met such a grim receptionist before: a lady never attemted a smile, mechanically spewed out instructions, and after the initial greeting failed to glance at us again. Breakfast was mediocre. The bathroom could be cleaner: there was quite a lot of hair on the floor from previous guests.During the Olympics, the price of accommodation was raised insanely.

    Location, garage

Opening hours of the kitchen, it is not possible to have lunch

Near to metro and stadium where we were seeing a gig; large room and comfy bed

Absolutely no atmosphere; very tired furnishings in restaurant

    the position

the staff, they were very unprofessional when they called during the night when one of us was sick

    8DonnaPosted on: 11-28-2025

Location, it was very close to the stadium and close to rail lines for heading into the city centre

The facilities were good, it would have been nice to have tea/coffee in the room

The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, getting there by taxi can be expensive so best option is to take the subway, the terminal station is a 5-10 mins walk to the hotel. Staff was friendly, room was clean, modernly decorated and quite spacious with everything you might need. Breakfast was good with enough diversity. Overall a good experience and a fair price/quality offer.

    Nothing, all was as expected.

Very impressive hotel and lovely well kept garden, ideal location for easy access to the Assago Unipol Forum and an easy metro ride into the city.

    Nothing all was perfect

    Location

Hotel is a nightmare. We didnt get the keys of the room until last day (the hotel stuff opened the door of the room with a key everytime we wanted to enter the room). We didnt have electricity all the time because the card for power was not working. The staff at reception are rude and unfriendly. The barmen was rude and didnt want to serve us because "he was bussy". Avoid this hotel - which cetanly is not 4 star as proclamed

I stayed at Royal Garden as I was going to attend a concert and wanted to be as close as possible to the arena. The hotel is magically beautiful, room feels luxurious and very spacious. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was really nice and many options to choose from.

So close to the Assago arena and the hotel is so beautiful. The breakfast is amazing

In the bathroom there were long black hairs everywhere, including the towels

    9LinPosted on: 9-1-2025

Good location for my workLovely grounds so nice views and you could walk or sit in themSpacious roomComfortable bed Lovely staff

I would have liked a ‘room only’ price as I rarely eat breakfastAC was not great in my room, rattled when fan was on…….forgot to tell them ooops!

    7ZhivkoPosted on: 8-11-2025

The place is OK for a sleepover, when you need secure parking. The keys for one of the rooms we have booked was not working and couldn't be repaired, but the staff handled the situation very well.

The garage was very durry. The service in the bar was quite unfriendly. The food in the restaurant was not worth it. Better go out. You can't reach anywhere without a car from the location of the hotel.

    5KambizPosted on: 8-3-2025

    Passable

The room, furniture, and bedding were so old that they gave off a dirty feeling. The room smelled bad, the sofa cover was very dirty and full of stains, and the bathtub and bathroom faucets were very old, rusty, and dirty.

    8DanielaPosted on: 7-31-2025

Overall, nice and comfortable stay. The buffet breakfast was the highlight.

Reception staff were not friendly, nor helpful.
