Location and staff

Room was a bit tired

the location is perfect. literally 50 feet from the duomo and on top of galleria v. emanuele

this was NOT up to 5-star standards. the room felt like it had gotten beaten up, badly. the furniture was half broken, the cigarette butts on the terrace were disgusting. the terrace was unusable (no chairs to sit outside). not worth $--- euro/night!!

It was dirty. We had a junior suite which was facing the garbage and not the gallery.... They are renovating and from 7 am you hear the workers arriving

The room was terrible, next to the elevators and just above a construction site that would do works at 3:00 am.

The location is fantastic!

This is not a 5 star hotel. It is quite worn and basic. You can tell that it used to be nice some years ago but is now quite unpleasant. I actually left early as the place was so disappointing

Location

Room furnishings, amenities were poor. The shower was small mouldy and broken. The air conditioning didnt work and there was not enough furniture. Only a bed and desk. The hotel was very $$$$ and definitely not worth the price. I'am  very upset.

The location is absolutely perfect. Central to the cathedral, shopping, restaurants, everything. If you're in Milan to shop, the location was convenient to stop by and drop off bags, and quickly return to the piazza. The hotel was intimate and luxurious.

I liked everything, not much room for improvement.

Breakfast was great. Our room was good but overlooked a central area for parked cars and movement of equipment for hotel - was noisy at night.

Detailing in the rooms which is maybe difficult to adjust due to old building. Some in room furniture should be renovated

The staff at Galleria Vik Milano were exceptional.Kind, attentive and there at all hours for our every need. The location was great and the rooms were spacious and luxurious! Very special stay.

We only regret we couldn’t stay longer!

I stay at Galleria Vik Milano almost every month for business, and I’ve probably been here around 10 times already. It genuinely gets better every time. The rooms are a piece of art. Each one is different, with super stylish design and so many thoughtful details with fine Italian taste. Some rooms have a beautiful Galleria view, some have balconies, and everything feels curated, elegant, and still very comfortable. The linens and towels are excellent, and the whole experience feels high quality and well cared for. The location is simply unbeatable. Being right inside the Galleria makes everything easy for business, shopping, and food. You can’t do better. Breakfast is fantastic and the restaurant is really lovely too. The waiters are amazing, so attentive, and they remember special requests without me even needing to say anything. But the best part is the people. Everyone is so warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Special thanks to Dario and Mina who are consistently exceptional. Dario always helps with everything and makes sure I have absolutely everything I could possibly need. He’s proactive, reliable, and somehow always finds a way to make things easy and smooth, even when I’m in and out for work. And Mina deserves an extra special mention. Mina goes far beyond “great service.” He has this rare ability to make you feel truly at home, in a natural and effortless way. He’s always smiling, always attentive, and always one step ahead, noticing the small things that matter. He remembers what I like, checks in at the right moments, and makes sure everything is perfect without ever making it feel formal or forced. When you travel often for business, that kind of warmth and care makes a huge difference, and Mina consistently delivers it. Thank you, and see you again soon.

Location is perfect and unfortunately it is the only thing that is perfect

Noise. It comes from all directions: from the corridor, from the street and from furniture which shakes with every step you make. The bathroom seems to be wonderful until you are not going to take a shower when you suddenly feel the cold wind coming through the closed window.Not worth the money.

Perfect situation in central Milan. Very friendly staff.

We were upgraded to a suite , which was lovely, with bed above in a raised area. Couch and tv were downstairs. Couch was very uncomfortable and I felt a tv would have been great in the bedroom area. The bar was in the restaurant but a cosy space with comfortable sofas would have been preferred.

Great location. Very chic with all the art pieces along the long corridors and coffee house. The staff at reception and coffee house are friendly and helpful.

The presidential suite was stuffy, especially the bathroom as poor ventilation. Felt like fainting after a shower. The suite is spacious but very bare and could do with some furnitures like sofa and bedside or standing lamps to improve the aesthetics of the room.

The room that we had was too far & I was quite disappointed that we didn't get the view of the Christmas tree.

No possibility to use the restaurant as it is open to the public and it’s difficult to get a spot

The location of the hotel is excellent. The breakfast is rich and tasty and overlooks a decorated and designed street. The staff in the dining room was pleasant and very helpful.

We booked two large rooms with balconies and a connecting door that were spacious but far from the elevator, which made it a bit difficult.
