- Our stay at the Hotel Amalfi was such a treat. The location is perfect, a short journey into the city centre in a calm yet vibrant area. We checked in after 8pm which was made very easy, and the owner was wonderfully welcoming. Would highly recommend.
Cons -
- Wish we could have stayed longer!
- Slightly small and a bit dusty in places but nothing major
- Actually if you travel in Milan or north of Italy in winter, be ready that you will be cold everywhere, in hote, in bar in restaurant, like 20 degree is maximum to get warm - in Amalfi hotel was okay heating, but they have special hours of heating, like from 11am - 4pm there is no heaitng in the room. be ready fot this

Very clean, in a nice location, staff friendly and helpful.
Lovely location well looked after and people were really nice even by helping us get to the hotel

The room was so small that the tiny single bed only just fitted. There was no breakfast available
The room was tiny. The single bed was very uncomfortable. There was no one at reception to let me in, or at any time during my stay. The manager was extremely rude and said he didn’t care what customers thought of his tiny B&B (without breakfast). It was so bad, that I left 3 days early, even though I had paid. I had a back ache for 2 weeks after from the thin lumpy mattress.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
A female staff was friendly.
The rooms exuded a strange odor that severely irritated my throat. When I attempted to communicate with the owner, he always responded with impatient "no sorry". Finally, I had no choice but to check out early with no refund.
the location is amazing, everything was close, the rooms were nice and pleasant, unfortunately it was only when I was leaving that I found out about the common area
Friendly staff, location in a peaceful area.
The elevator is staff only. They do help with luggage but would be great to let elder people use that too.
Great property for the price, room was nice and clean so was the bathroom. Great location to nearest metro that ran to all the hotspots. We even had a balcony which was a lovely surprise. Should definitely be higher rated as it was lovely.
Only criticism is the air-con did not go low enough for the Italian summer, it was on but wasn’t strong enough for August heat!
Room was clean, service was nice, smooth and english was not a problem
Bed & pillow terribly uncomfortable. I was sick after day 1 (high temperatures at night do not work well with air conditioning straight above the bed). Some local people screaming outside at night 2 or 3 times and waking me up.
Fantastic location. Super clean! Great shower and quality of furniture
Room a little small, would be good to have a mini bar, considering the temperature
Great location if you need parking outside zone C (a recommendable apcoa parking spot is just a 10 minute walk away). A metro station is also close by. The room was comfortable, large and all amenities were working.
The bathroom is poorly ventilated and the cleaning staff moved the used towels so that we could not tell which towel belonged to whom.
Decent hotel at relatively good rate (for Milan). Room and bathroom ok, A/C in the room working fine.
The fan at the ceiling was noisy, therefore I switched it off and preferred A/C. The location of the hotel is not particularly convenient. The walk to the city center (Duomo) takes about 45 minutes, which is too much to be done everyday.
Nice, clean and comfortable rooms.
U have full value for your money regarding location. Nice location, walking distance from Wagner metro station. Nice clean property and its room. We lost our earphone during check out and when we asked about it, hotel staff was honest enough to return it back to us on our demand.
The manager/owner of this property named Guido is very rude. He didn’t give us control of AC on the first go, but when we asked him regarding refund then only he came to our room and gave us AC remote control. Also he didn’t give us complimentary coffee in the morning (we were given complimentary coffee by other female staff last morning). Its a home converted to hotel. Very pathetic reception, one can’t find anyone in the reception area after morning hours.Room was very small as compared to the photographs uploaded on booking.com website. Also the washroom is also too small especially the bath area. You can neither find water kettle not any tea/coffee making device or stuff in the room.Room cleaning also happens without guest’s consent.U could be fooled by the photos so be vigilant while opting for this hotel/property.
The hotel was more than we Expect, beautifull place in a good location, everything it was super clean . Of course totally recomended.
Location, close to the metro stationClean and tiny Friendly staff
It is not too far away from Duomo (around 3 km). The walking route is great. While walking around, we really enjoyed. If you would like to take the metro, there is M1 metro line close to the hotel. The room is very clean. They also changed our towels and cleaned the room one time. Everything was great. If we will come back to Milan, we will definitely choose this place to stay. Thanks a lot for everything.
