Hotel La Madonnina

Location is excellent! The staff was very friendly and helpful. For a 3 Star hotel the room was nice. Even the WiFi speed was good. It has an elevator, so carrying luggage to the first floor was not a problem. Breakfast was very good.

The location can¿t be beat. It¿s a 2 minute walk from the Duomo and close to many fine places to eat. There is a Tram stop directly in front for even easier access to the city.

This time of year it¿s incredibly hot in Milan. The air conditioning could not do the job of keeping the room cool. It was uncomfortable to sleep during the warm nights.

Just a few minutes walk from the Cathedral and in the heart of restaurants, coffee shops and bars. The staff was helpful--they printed my travel documents. The breakfast was the best of many countries. Bacon, cheese, toast, fruit, cake coffee.

The room and facilities are okay but fairly small, so I would recommend it for a single person’s stay.”

I would highly recommend providing a water kettle with some coffee or tea in each room so that guests can enjoy a hot drink in their room.

Amazing location, friendly staff and clean.

Extremely difficult to find the front door. It is behind people are waiting for the tram, and doesn’t have a sign, except for on the doorbell. Breakfast is minimal. Beds are ok.

The location of the hotel was super! The staff was very kind and helpful! Special thanks to one of the two staff members at the reception, Christiano who supported me with my luggage during the last day when I got sick.

Location, maybe just a street away frim the Duomo and shopping area, favilities are really nice and staff super nice!

The location was great and why we chose this hotel. It was a short walk to many of the major sights in Milan including the Duomo, shopping and great restaurants. We had limited time in Milan and the location was perfect to access all of the things we wanted to see during our stay.

The bed wasn't the most comfortable and it is near a train so you hear the train going by throughout the night, but all in all it wasn't too bad. If you are a light sleeper it would likely not be the right choice for you unless you bring earplugs.

The location was excellent and although central it was quiet at night. There were plenty of restaurants and shops close by as well as coffee and gelato too!

Very difficult to find our way in and no instruction given to do so. The door happened to be exactly where a tram stop was so we couldn’t even see where to get in and the hotel was on the second floor there was a jewelry store on the bottom level. Because of the crowd we couldn’t see where we were supposed to hit the button. If they had emailed instructions on exactly where to find the door and how to get in, it would’ve been a lot easier for us. The elevator was tricky as well.

Very close to the Dome, metro, and other sightseeing. The staff was very helpful. The room was spacious. It had a good table, space, windows.

It was a bit noisy from outside, but I had my earplugs to sleep. The bed was a bit hard but I could still sleep in.

Location was perfect. Staff were excellent. Very helpful specially since we were with our toddler. They helped us on small stuff like offering us warm milk, mobile charging adapter, flexible with our random requests at random hours, luggage storage etc. 10/10 this hotel!

Room size could have be bigger but that’s the issue everywhere in major European cities. So not this hotel specific.

It is close to noisy busy street and windows were not sound-proof.
