Nice and friendly owners

Low price in the time of Olympic games. 5th level of the building but with the lift. Bed in the room was nice and no backpain in the morning at all.

Generally old furniture.l in the whole place. The door of the room was difficult to close. Old metal-glass window with no seal so we could hear the noise from the street. NO SHOWER GEL in the bathroom. NO TOWEL in the room ready for us after we arrived. I consider these two things as a common standard and we were really disappointed. After we asked for the towel, the guy gave it to us without a problem. But it should be ready on the bed.

I only liked location, because next door we had bus stop to the city

We didn’t like our room and extra paid bathroom because of dirt everywhere and cold temperature during nights( February). Moreover we didn’t have duvets. The bath in our bathroom was very dirty. There was also bad smell in whole room. We couldn’t come back later than 23:30 because after 24 the hotel was closed. Everytime we left we had to gave back the key from our room.

The Hostel has very supportive team. They responded you quickly. Speak English without problem. The place was clean.

They have high city tax for the Hostel style place. According to the Milano City Hall the amount for 2026 should not be more than 3-4€.

The host/person at the reception was nice.

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The bedroom with the three single beds had a very unpleasant smell, and after about 10 minutes lying on the beds, all three of us started feeling itchy.Our room was located right in front of the kitchen, and the door lock felt unusual and not very secure. The bathrooms were extremely dirty, and overall the entire place was in need of a deep, thorough cleaning.The location is also not convenient, with very few things nearby and around 40 minutes away from Milano Centrale.I do not recommend this place. It is not worth the price, and I would not stay here again.

That it had a small shared kitchen including fridge microwave kettle.

The toilet was clogged and didn't work properly.

I arrived later than expected but they kindly let me in. The place is very well located since it's near Lampugnano train and bus station and the stadium as well. Even though it's not a traditional hostel (it's more of a large flat converted for the purpose of hospitality) it's very comfortable and clean.

Nothing - it was really convenient for a night in Milan.

The location is nice for the price. One bathroom was nice; the other wasn’t. The room seemed like a typical student room, but with a lovely balcony, which was the only real difference.

Mixed feelings, to be honest. I would recommend it only if you don’t have any expectations. From a young student’s perspective, it’s a “fun adventure.” From an older visitor’s point of view, I wouldn’t go unless your budget is really tight.

They doesnt give to us clothes locker.We cannot safe our personal iteam.Heater off after 12 a clock.They not give it to us even towels.

Worst Hostel Experience Ever – Avoid at All CostsI spent 4 nights at Star Hostel in Milan, and honestly, it was a nightmare. The room was filthy, the beds weren’t made, and it was so loud that sleep was basically impossible. Oh, and forget using the toilet like a normal human – you couldn’t even flush toilet paper. Seriously.The owners? Sometimes loud and ignorant. Being around them was unpleasant.If you value cleanliness, basic hygiene, peace, stay away from this place. Star Hostel isn’t just disappointing – it’s a total disaster.

The administrator is a kind person, he explained everything well and answered all questions, despite other reviews about this hostel, we did not experience any negative emotions, the rooms are modest and old, but for this price, it's a pretty good option, I rate the experience positively.

The downside is that the hostel doors are closed at night and you can't get in unless you arrive on time according to the hostel's schedule.

Absolutely not recommended. The room was extremely dirty, the bedsheets were not clean, and there was a strong, unbearable smell. Hygiene standards were very poor. I also did not feel safe at all during my stay. Completely unacceptable for the price. I would never stay here again.

The place is very clean, people too, you can relax very well, the receptionist is really a nice person, the hostel is located in a good area very close to city life, city centre or San Siro stadium, busses, M5 and city trains connect this area 24/24.i have been in many hostels in Milan and this is for now one of the top.

I rang the doorbell downstairs at 1 p.m., and a waiter said that I could not enter the gate until 2 p.m. and check in on the 5th floor. It was raining heavily in Milan and the weather was very cold. I begged him to say that it was raining heavily outside and asked him to open the door so that he could shelter from the rain downstairs. He said sternly that he was very busy and had to open it after 2 o'clock. So I was drenched in the rain outside the gate downstairs. The room was very cold at night. I asked the waiter, and he said that the room would be warm after 11 o'clock. The next morning, I had a cough, headache and fever until now. It was the first time I experienced such an unexpected service, which was like a nightmare.

Nothing. Did not end uo staying at the property.

Property wont let you back in after 1230 hours an went for a football match which wouldn't get us back until after that time. Tried reasoning with the man on the phone an he was just a grade A tool about it.

It looks way nicer in the pictures than in reality, and toilets have trouble working
