Senato Hotel Milano

Senato is a cute hotel with very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, and in the best location - a short walk away from the best shopping, hotels, museums, in a safe area, etc. Travelled for work, had a great stay and will be back.

Room is simple but comfortable, the bathroom finishes are nice. The pillows weren't the best but for a short stay it's ok.

Excellent. The people were especially helpful and professional.

Two things would have been helpful. First, explain before we went to the room how to turn off the light over the door to the room without turning off the air conditioner. Second, explain how to call the front desk before we went to the room.

The location was great! The breakfast garden and food were perfect. The bed was comfortable.

We left disappointed.

The room was not what we were expecting given the price we paid in proportion of the experience we had. After confirming our stay, we decided to extend our trip in Milan given unforeseen circumstances. After communicating with the hotel, they were unable to accommodate our one time request to extend. Upon checking in, we realized that the bathroom was not equipped with shampoo. Considering that it could have been a one time overlook from the housekeeping staff, we decided to wait for the next day. During our 5 day stay, we were never once equipped with shampoo, even after we’ve brought this issue up with different concierge staff on three separate occasions. We had high hopes and expectations for this hotel given the reviews and pictures we have seen online; but it is safe to say that we were left very disappointed after a rather inattentive stay.

We stayed at Hotel Senato for the third time. Unfortunately, the service has declined a bit. The kettle didn’t work, and we had to request bathrobes first..A lady at the reception was not very friendly and seemed rather annoyed by our request for bathrobes. Furthermore, she said that breakfast was not included and would cost €25 per person per day. In the end, it was actually €15, not €25, and breakfast was included in one of the rooms. Completely wrong information, and the lady had an absolutely unsympathetic attitude—not helpful at all.

The wonderful amenities like the proper hair dryers and straightening irons was wonderful.

The fact that you had to pay extra for hot breakfast items.

Good breakfast, great location, and overall comfortable stay.

The hotel is very much "form over function" in design and not always practical. Limited ledges for sinks in some of the rooms. Faucets can overshoot sink. Never figured out how to use the hotel phone to call front desk. You have to just go down to ask staff questions.

The staff was excellent. Mainly the reception, Elena and Marcelo were absolutely helpful. The room was super clean and comfortable!

The location is perfect, safe area and close to the fashion district, close to Brera .the stuff was very nice and professional The hotel is super pet friendly They gave us a dog bed with towel and blanket, plus a little present for our dog.

Even though the hotel is in the middle of a European city, the room was surprisingly big and quite comfortable!

Staff were incredibly helpful and looked after us extremely well, including helping with our parking and luggage, extra bedding needs and location advice.

Cleaners leaving the cleaning trolly in the hall all day was slightly annoying as it was right outside the elevator at all times.

Wonderfully Hotel. From the reception to the Resturant and housekeeping all helpfully. The breakfast was great. The location is perfect

Very nice and chic Hotel, it is well located nearby city center. The rooms are in very good size, with plenty of amenities and with natural light which I find delightful.

Exactly on the dates we stayed, they were having renovation work at the property so, it happened to be many workers and it was a little too noisy but it’s comprehensive. They have to do maintenance someday right?! And also at our arrival the personal greeting us was at the beginning not so friendly. I don’t expect that from the personal working at a hotel which they have to be precisely welcoming and attentive. But after that little encounter the rest of the days they were very polite and helpful.
