Chateau Monfort - Relais & Chateaux

Exceedingly beautiful with an old-world feel. Tall ceilings, sumptuously decorated in period style. The breakfast wasn't particularly 5-start, but I don't eat that much, so I'm not the best judge.

A relatively quiet location in Milan. Not the best choice if you want to be in the middle of all the action. Very good choice for honeymooners, couples, and maybe small families.

Beautiful, clean rooms and new bath, with comfortable bed and fine sheets. The decor is a nice balance of traditional and contemporary. I would stay there again.

Hotel staff were friendly but did not meet the Relais & Chateaux standard. There is need of much more training. The restaurant is good with friendly staff, by not exceptional. Perhaps with time.

A pretty hotel with nothing included unfortunately.

I did not like the shower going on all by itself all night long or the air conditioning blowing right on our faces in bed.

First night our rooms were not available and we had to change hotels, which was a shame but the staff made a lot of effort to make up for this oversight, which was very much appreciated.

Rooms very well designed and good size. Bathroom also high standard. Location just next to metro station. In the neighborhood many good cafes and restaurants.

I thought there was a real pool looking at the photos. In reality it was a plunge pool for spa guests

They informed me about the tipping added to my bill when I was paying my bill. Should have informed me at check in.

We were in Milan for one night traveling back to USA and were celebrating my wife's birthday. I mentioned this to Matteo when we checked in. When we came back from a walking trip to the Duomo and Galleria, we found a nice note from the staff in our room along with a bottle of Prosecco and some fruit/chocolate. My wife was so pleased! Thank you again, this was so special.Also had to leave at 5 am for an early flight. The bellman was ready and waiting to walk me to the valet parking lot. Exceptional service!

- For the price paid per night, the minibar should have been included. - We have booked the hotel because it had a swimming pool where we could take my 8 year daughter, however this has not been permitted by the staff. - On our departure, the luggage took a worrying amount of time before it has been taken down by the porter. This made us think that the baggage’s are getting ‘checked’. We normally keep the valuables with us.

A superbly located, stylish five-star hotel in the heart of Milan. Immaculate throughout. The staff were first-class and every touch was spot on — from swift valet parking to the delicious amuse-bouche waiting in the room.

Nothing to complain

1. The people. They were friendly, and helpful; especially the bellmen, breakfast personnel, and doormen. Front desk was also friendly and professional.

Location is good vs. Milan city center, but not great.

Bathtub was great but it was challenging to take a shower. Need a shower head holder

The hotel common areas were lovely as were the rooms. The hotel restaurant and bar were inviting and the menus were wonderful.
