    Pros +

    • Great location, comfortable bed, nice room, friendly staff.
    • Windows could be openedMattress was comfortable Adapter on hair dryer was usable for other electonucs
    • perfect location 15min from the duomo, staff is really helpful, the lobby and the rooms are very cute (nice decoration and even a vinyl in the room)

    Cons -

    • I stayed for four nights and only had Wi-Fi on the first day, which was extremely disappointing. I asked the staff several times about the issue, but each time I was told that it would “hopefully be fixed soon.” Unfortunately, it never was.The bathroom also needs much better cleaning. The bathtub and the corners around the bath screen were very dirty and clearly had not been properly cleaned for a long time.
    • Not enough usb ports. In general electrical is not good Shower is way too small and products in the way Green exit light will keep me from ever going there again I stayed 4 days and only offered 2 bottles water day 1. Water should be essential.
    • unfortunately we will not come back due to issues with the bathroom: constant smells of sewage (not even perfume could hide), bathroom was quite dark even with the lights on, any shower would result in a wet floor (no proper protection).

I did not purchase breakfast because I am a late riser and usually start my day with lunch. Max Brown was a little different from hotels I usually reserve. I love the record player in the room even though I didn’t get a chance to play it. The snack area was different but nice. I purchased some candy by the pound and the candy was stale. The best part was the bed. King size is always good but in Europe single and full size beds are the norm. Also, since hotel rooms tend to be on the cold side I always ask for an extra blanket. This time I got a wonderful fluffy comforter and along with the pillows and the bed I could have spent a day in bed if I were in Milan longer. I really enjoyed the bed.

The bathroom sink was slow draining and filled up quickly. If the sink was cleaned regularly this would have been rectified by the time I arrived in the room. I had to alert management about the problem. Someone fixed it right away and the bathroom had a foul smell for the next two days. The soap dispensers in the shower and sink looks like they are not cleaned regularly. One small thing - I don’t know what happened but the toilet paper holder was on the bathroom floor one evening.

We stayed at this hotel in Milan and, unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. While the property has a retro look and feel from the outside, the reality of the room was extremely underwhelming. The room itself felt outdated, with little natural sunlight, and the bathroom was so small that it was uncomfortable to use. There wasn’t even a hanger for hand towels, and the towels provided felt very cheap. For a two-person room, the space was far too cramped, and my partner and I really struggled to fit in comfortably. Overall, I cannot understand how this hotel is rated as a four-star establishment. The quality simply did not meet the expectations or standards of that rating.

The staff is AMAZING! friendliest you will ever encounter and super knowledgeable!! Great breakfast buffet and the lounge area is supper nice!

The bathrooms could use a bit of freshening up and the shower heads need to be made so the water doesnt spill out

    Only the staff

No room service, no bell captain, toilets are filthy, room rates are high

The staff at Max Brown is without a doubt the BEST hotel staff I have encountered in all my travels! The front desk, the bar and breakfast staff were exceptional! The maid’s cleaning the rooms ALL exceptional!!

I did not like that once I selected and paid that I could not cancel even a month out from my visit!

I was in Milan (visiting from Toronto) for a conference and stayed at the Max Brown. It was great- super clean, cute rooms, great breakfast and bar options. Would recommend and make a point of staying at this cute and central spot!

Unique style, great attention to detail, very clean, central location less than 15 minutes away from the center.

Dull rooms and can be small, but it was perfect for a solor traveler

Lovely retro feel to the hotel, staff were very helpful, room was very clean.

Vintage touch of design throughout, very comfortable bed and beddings. Toiletries are nice.

Shower head can be upgraded to match the overall level of the hotel. The hardware was a bit cheap in touch.

The hotel is very nicely designed and retro and in a good location and paid secure parking right next to it.

Love the boutique design and all the details at the hotel, the decor is amazing!

The drainage was not working too well, and some of the wall lights were on and off even the switch was on the entire time.

    9YağmurPosted on: 5-19-2025

They were really helpful very clear with information that we need to know, location was pretty close to everything. We walked around the city easily.

Since we were staying as two person it was hard to use the toilet when someone had a shower but I don’t know if all the rooms are same and I think they designed it thinking about disabled people or someone who just had surgery??‍♀️

    good location, nice hotel

the lighting is dark in the rooms, weak water pressure

    10ScarlettPosted on: 4-28-2025

Everyone was so lovely! Staff were really friendly, and you can keep your luggage with them in storage for the day after check out if you have a late flight which is perfect!

    Shower was a bit small.

Excelent location, friendly staff, clean facility

There was a constant noise of running water 24/7 in all rooms, likely related to the building's heating or AC units, you eventually learn to ignore it, but the first couple nights was really annoying. The showers are not properly sealed, so water ends up all over the place after using them.
