It's big

The location is not good, looks better in photos than in person, the building is old

The studio was overall good, with fair amount of facilities for the price.

The AC was not working which made us freeze at night and had to use 2/3 sheets of blanket to warm up.

The locarion was neat metro station, it was clean and price was good.

The fridge was making noises ocasionally and it woke us up the first night. We requested doubble bed and all they did was put two single beds next to eachother. The bess were seperating all the time.

Pros:- Mini-kitchen included in the room, very convenient in case you decide to cook something in the room.- Mattress was comfortable- Room dimension was good - Good location, just 5 mins walk from the metro station

Cons:- Some furniture in the room was old and outdated. - Toilet door was old and didn't close well.

The room was perfectly clean. Elevator was also available it was small but still works for us. Clean washrooms! Friendly front desks.

The room we booked had bed sheets with holes in them, which was very unpleasant. The bathroom also had hair on the floor, clearly showing it hadn’t been cleaned properly. During the three nights we stayed there, it was obvious that the room was never vacuumed or cleaned.

Great location and super friendly staff. Having a kitchen in the room was really convenient.

The bathroom was disgusting — very dirty, and the shower area would flood every time we tried to take a bath. On top of that, there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom.Although the bed was comfortable, it seemed like something on it gave me body itches.

The rule of cancellation of the whole booking in case of no show-up in the first day is too strict. The flights could have been delayed not because of our fault...We also weren't aware of the city tax.

We recently stayed at Residence Desenzano and had a really positive experience. The location is excellent—just a few minutes from the metro, with a 24-hour supermarket nearby, making it easy to get around Milan and pick up anything needed. Our room was clean with a handy kitchenette and a large fridge, which made it feel more like home during our visit. Overall, I found the price very reasonable given Milan’s high costs, and I’d definitely recommend Residence Desenzano for a comfortable, practical stay.

It was clean and had everything we needed. It was next to a supermarket and a Subway mouth. We also felt comfortable and they arranged a late check in for us, which we really appreciated.

The bathroom smelled a little bit like plumbing the last days and the pans where scratched.

Our flight was delayed, and we arrived at the hotel after working hours. After such a long delay at the airport, we were extremely frustrated to find that the hotel had not placed our keys in the lockbox, nor had they made any attempt to communicate with us. We were lucky to eventually find someone kind enough to open the door for us, but unfortunately, the person at the check-in desk was the opposite—unhelpful and impolite. When I asked about the issue, he simply said, “You were late” (which was entirely out of my control), without offering any apology for the inconvenience. Overall, the lack of professionalism and courtesy made for a very disappointing experience. Consider staying somewhere else—it’s not worth the headache.

Our three-night stay at Residenza de Senzano was overall quite pleasant. The staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming, which made a good impression from the start. Although the residence is clearly older, the facilities are well-maintained and fully functional. The room felt cozy despite its age, and the fully equipped kitchen was a major plus — clean, spacious, and stocked with everything we needed, including a fridge, freezer, microwave, and stove. There was ample storage space throughout the apartment, including wardrobes and areas for shoes. The bathroom was also clean and spacious, with everything in good order. The quiet residential neighborhood felt safe and peaceful, with convenient access to supermarkets, including a 24-hour Carrefour, and just a short walk (5–10 minutes) to Gambara metro station on the M1 line, making it easy to reach both the Duomo and Milano Centrale. The nearby area also had some nice restaurants; we especially enjoyed a Japanese place close by.

While generally comfortable, a few things could be improved. One of the power plugs in our room was faulty and couldn’t hold a charger properly. The air conditioning was weak and the adjustment dial was broken, although I managed to adjust it enough for it to be tolerable. Thankfully, the weather in Milan wasn’t too hot, so it didn’t ruin our experience. The shower, while functional, felt a bit cramped when the curtains were closed, and the hot water took some time to arrive. The view from the balcony wasn’t particularly attractive, but not unpleasant either.

decent location, next to a good supermarket. really worth it for the value, especially when travelling on a budget. would book it again the next time.

old facilities, is in a need of a renovation, outdated equipment

The location is close to the Metro station which is great for getting around the city. The room had a kitchenette so if you want to make your own coffee and breakfast, you can do so, as meals are not provided here and there is no restaurant on site. The gentleman with the glasses that other reviewers complain about was actually helpful, and he recommended a great restaurant that I went to a few times. Grazie!

The key here is in the title: "Residenza" so it's not a hotel or B&B where you should expect hospitality and ammenties. NOTE: There is no flexibility for a later check-in time. The front desk closes promptly at 6p or 7p (can't recall) so make sure you get there at the time they state. It's just a place to sleep at night while you enjoy the city by day. There is daily housekeeping which is appreciated. The place is older and can use an update, even if it was just new (or clean) carpet. I wish I had one of the rooms they depict in their own photos on this site but mine certainly was not one of those. You're in a residential area and there is noise from the surrounding apartments. Had an issue with an army of ants coming in from the balcony on my last night (I did not have any food out but they found something on my shoe and invited all of their friends).
