Hotel Capitol Milano

The hotel staff is second to none. Well adverse to address any matter no matter what is ask of them. Pleasant and professional. Among them I wish to recognize hotel employee at the front desk.

The staff are very helpful, professional and kind. The accommodations are first rate. The breakfast provided is fresh, tasty, and filling. The hotel is in close proximity to everything - Metro, grocery, restaurants, shopping, and attractions.

There is nothing we did not like!

Good hotel, decent location, clean room.

The hotel had advertised a shuttle to Malpensa airport. However, there is no shuttle provided, all they do is call taxi to take you to the train station where you can buy tickets to go to the airport. Also, the hotel does not provide an ironing board.

This is a hotel with nice furnishings and decorations. The bathroom is completely walled and floored with marbles. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is very good with a wide range of choices.

Amazing hotel! We loved everything there! Stuff, the location and the rooms' design! Definitely worth it!

Room had some modern features and was spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The shape of the room and bathroom was a bit odd. It was annoying that the room only had electric plugs by the desk, none by the bed to charge my phone or medical equipment. Overall, the hotel is fine but feels a bit outdated.

Very friendly staff. Already on the 2nd day during breakfast the staff remembered my room and coffee order, which is a nice detail. It was also no problem to store the luggage longer after checkout.The room was small, but enough to use as a hub to do you errands in the city, especially since the location is very convenient, close to both the center by metro or to the conference center nearby. The bathroom was cleaned and restored with new amenities every day, and the bed was comfortable to sleep on. The air conditioning in the room was a plus.

Only one electronic socket available in the room (not even in the bathroom), away from the bed. If you have multiple devices to charge after a full day, it was getting a bit tricky to prioritize. The breakfast was quite limited in choice if you don't feel like going for a hotel-style eggs and bacon or a basic ham and cheese sandwich, and the fruit and vegetables that were available were looking not very appetizing and discolored, so not many alternatives were there.

The retro style down in the city center. The locatino is good as well, quite convenient.

From the lobby to the elevator, you need to go down and up the stairs. It is a bit difficult for people with heavy luggage.

Great stay. Perfect location for bus and train. Only problem was my room was small but very comfortable

We had an excellent stay in this old, well kept hotel. The beds were the most comfortable and the pillows too. The staff is exceptional with great attention to detail. Breakfast was wonderful. The next time we're in Milan, we'll definitely stay here.

Clean and the staff were excellent .

The bar was not very well stocked with only one choice of red wine . The tv in the room did not have all the channels advertised and even though it was a single room it was very small .

- Staff (everyone) were polite and willing to help as much as they can.

- No drinking water (first told tap water isn’t drinkable, then later said it is).- No charger/plug outlets near the bed and work station (got a dirty extension cord instead) even in a Suite.- Mediocre breakfast – mostly supermarket prepackaged food.- Dirty floor carpets, old wobbly furniture, and a weak shower. The hotel itself still needs serious upgrades.

I used the Capital as my home base during a recent trip to Italy, staying there 4 separate times between trips to other cities (and leaving my suitcase with them between stays). The staff is exceptional. The rooms and beds are very confortable, even if some are small.

The air conditioner did not work, and the room got very warm in the afternoon - reception staff was very polite though when I mentioned it, and I understood when they explained it is all centralized and shut down in november, when aircon is normally not needed.Power socket close to the bed would be nice.They could put some towels and water in the gym.Instruction on how to use the safe would be nice (I did figure it out)These are just recommendations for future improvement. I would most likely return to the hotel.

Excellent Hotel. I am a heavy business traveller and the cleanliness of this hotel is the best I have experienced. Service is great and rooms very comfortable. Congratulations to all the Staff!

Hotel close to M1 Metro line, room is not very big, but good bed and pillow.Good breakfast (includes freshly squeezed oranges), but no specials like smoked salmon or so.Hotel staff are very friendly.

Drain of the shower was clogged, I had to ask twice to get it fixed.There is no sauna or swimming pool, only a small gym.
