Pros +
- It was a nice stay for New Year, close to the train station and with bus station in front of the hotel, not far from city center, we had a nice breakfast, quiet. All in all a pleasant experience.
- Friendly staffQuiet location
- The price.
Cons -
- Buffet breakfast could have had eggs and other dishes
- The breakfast was inedible. Blackened croissants, spoiled fruit, crabby waiter. Sloppiness - jugs of cleaning fluid in the elevator. A front desk that was completely clueless and not even capable of help on the most basic questions, such as good restaurants, how to see the world's most famous painting the last supper. A giant water stain above the toilet not not even bothered to paint over. Sloppy, horrible.

clean and nice staff!! easy check in and delicious breakfast!
Friendly staff, clean rooms, good location, safety , budget-friendly hotel, thank you. I saw in some comments that there is no coffee at breakfast. There is coffee and a variety of things, the breakfast variety is sufficient.
I had an amazing stay at San Guido Hotel in Milan — the most comfortable hotel I’ve stayed at this year. Everything was incredibly clean, and the room was cleaned daily without me having to ask or pay extra. The water pressure was perfect, always warm, and the room temperature was cozy in the evenings and throughout the night.Breakfast was great, with a good main selection, delicious coffee, and wonderful pistachio croissants. The staff were very friendly and genuinely helpful. I even ended up sleeping 12 hours one night because the bed and pillows were unbelievably comfortable. The room was spacious, smelled lovely, and the location is conveniently close to the city center with easy access everywhere. I will definitely choose this hotel again anytime I visit Milan.Highly recommended!

Older style hotel was appealing to us. Proximity to tram line was very handy. Proximity to local supermart and china town was helpful.
Staff were quite indifferent, at check-in and also breakfast room supervisor. Poor breakfast selection for healthy eaters. Too much processed meat, no real selection of fresh fruit.
Decent room, good public transit access, nice breakfast
The shower was ridiculously small and not very good
Location and room size
Breakfast
Stuff very polite, helpful, owner too, great hospitality, very convenient location since tram 2, 4 are standing in front of the hotel, so easy to go to the city center, nice spacious room with sound proof windows. Price was very convenient. If I go back to Milan, I will book here again for sure.
Location is good
The breakfast was never a continental breakfast as stated !There were no eggs , no tomatoes, no cucumber, no green or black olives served in breakfast ! They served only one type of cheese. Such breakfast can never be called as continental breakfast at all . I recommend everybody not to include breakfasts in their booking in this hotel. The shower tray was 60cm by 60cm , too small . It was hard to get into the shower cabinet and hitting to shower cabinet panels during taking of a shower . So the bathroom was extremely small.
The view was amazing. Marco was very helpful and available when needed.
Lots of stairs.
Exceptional service. Rooms very comfortable and clean. The small kitchenette was an added bonus.
Sweet corner room and quiet! We had a twin room with plenty of space for luggage, etc. The breakfast was lovely with the best cappuccino! Also close to the Cemetary Monumental which should not be missed!
The location…too far from the center of the city. Although on the tram line, evidently there was construction in Milan so the tram just went in a circle, never coming close to the Duomo or Navigli. And FYI, the hotel is in Chinatown ?♀️
The breakfast was really good and the 3 lady's that makes them are incredible.
The wifi does not reach the room 41. We could not use it.
Clean, nice location
Little small
Antique interior design, the location is not bad, the tram stop is just outside the hotel.
The breakfast is very poor, they don't even offer omelette or porridge. The room is small and stuffy but there's an AC that helps. The street is noisy with the building shaking when a tram passes by.
Very decent breakfast and close to Garibaldi station & Corso Como. Has v friendly professional staff; air-conditioning!
Might get a bit of street noise but not too bad.
The hotel is old and a little dated but very comfortable and well priced for Milan. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was a good size with comfortable beds and lots of pillows to choose from. Quiet even though there's a tram line right outside the door. Good breakfast options. Located near lots of different restaurants and public transport options.
The shower is very small. If you are on the larger size it won't be adequate. No tea or coffee making facilities.
The breakfast was great, and it was very pretty in the hotel. I also enjoyed how there were great restaurants and a lovely park in walking distance!
