Hotel Ares Milano

Location is close to the metro. Plenty of food and drink options nearby. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Room was perfect for a solo traveler.

The staff at Hotel Ares Milano were warm, friendly, and very helpful. Lovely and affordable continental breakfast provided a nice start to the day¿s sightseeing.

Staff was very friendly. The hotel is a little far from the centre but easily accessible with public transport.

The hotel is situated on short a street which connects two very busy main roads. It is therefore very noisy until late at night. Double glazing in the front rooms would make a great difference. Considering the cost per night, one would expect a better night's sleep.Breakfast was just adequate.

The single occupancy room looked nothing like the pictures online. There was very thin bedding on the bed. The whole room smelled of damp, even worse in the bathroom. Walls are paper thin. The bathroom extractor fan was extremely noisy and the bathroom stunk of cigarettes in the morning. Area doesnt feel safe to walk around as a solo female traveller.

A bit noisy.

The staff is really pleasant and professional. The person who maintained the rooms put a lot of effort into their work, and the rooms looked very clean.

The reseptions service is the best.The cleaner service was every day.

The breakfast menu was not wide as for me.The shower cabin has only fixed funnel on the head. You can't use it on different locations.

The WiFi was not really good, at times it just would not connect, so that was a bit disappointing

5 minute walk from two stations, making it easy to travel into central Milan. Friendly staff on 24 hours. Good simple continental breakfast. Cute resident cat

The friendly staff and the overall hospitality of the hotel service.

The fridge of the hotel room was empty. Also there were no hotel toothbrushes and the toilet paper was not enough for our four nights stay.

I didn't use the breakfast and I'be been there for one night only. It's important to bear in mind that it's a three-star hotel, so OlI really don't understand those that complain like the they booked a Ritz. It was good and comfortable, the staff was welcoming and friendly, everything went smooth so all was up to the expectation.

Only slightly negative mention I can give is that I had to call three times at around 10:00 am to get someone at the phone, but I wouldn't consider it such a big problem, the time was the one of the room set-up.

The room was clean. The breakfast was good with a variety of products and good coffee! The hotel is located near metro station and tram station which you can use to visit the central of the city. The staff was very very polite and willing to help you in anything you might need. An overall good and value for money experience which I definitely recommend.

Fresh towels and clean room every day. Amazing staff. Really close to Via Bernina station to get tram and buses for Porta Garibaldi station. Close to a 24h grocery store.

The location is super convenient. You have both a Metro and a train stop about five minutes from the hotel. The staff is very nice and the room comfortable.

We had a lovely one day stay with family. The location was excellent, and the apartment was easy to find. Host l was incredibly helpful and always available for any questions or clarifications. We felt safe, comfortable, and very much at home

Terrible Ac did not work...

We arrived around 10pm, the room was on the last floor, it was super hot, we turned the ac on and went to dinner, when we came back we realized that the ac did not work, went to talk to the frontdesk and they confirmed that it did not work, I asked for another room and they did not have one, it was almost impossible to sleep there, they did not offer to provide a refund, I entered a complaint and they offered to reimburse 30% which seemed low to me but I didn’t want to argue, the bottom line I never received this refund as they don’t know how to make a transfer to a US bank account, if traveling in the summer stay away from this hotel

Staff was great, very helpful and polite. We had large comfortable family room at third floor with balkon. Everything was great!
