Aethos Milan

The hotel on first sight was super cool and gave us the 'wow' factor. However small things in the room just weren't right; no dressing table or vanity mirror, lighting was poor and the room was very noisy!

NOISE!!! The hotel is part of a very cool bar / late night restaurant and the noise of this was unbearable, and one evening it was 3am when the noise of customers and staff clearing up finished... the started again at 7am with staff preparing breakfast!!

Very clean, friendly staff, very interesting decor, lots of intimate spaces to hang out ion the hotel, good location.

I was surprised and very disappointed to see that they allowed smoking in the bar. That made it impossible for us to spend any time there.

Location, location, location. Such a good place for millennials to stay at when in Milan. Close but not too close to everything.

Air conditioning was weak but we made it work. Still an amazing place.

Noise from the bar/lounge until 2am

The hotel is very elegant with a beautiful bar and nice amenities in the room. The room was a good size with care taken in the design to make sure the room is quiet. The location is great, but not right in the center of the tourist area.

the check in is in the bar, and the it does feel a bit as though the bar is the main focus of the business. the breakfast was nice, but not as nice as many we had in Italy - maybe we got spoiled.

If you appreciate good decor, then you'll love this hotel! Everything was expertly styled and picture perfect. The breakfast included was absolutely divine as well.

I understand the hotel is going to be renovated, which I guess explains why it seems like they aren’t maintaining and keeping up the rooms. Our furniture had seen better days, was scuffed and shabby (not in a vintage way). To get to your room you have to walk through a maze of different dining rooms and the bar. At certain points during our stay there were private events and it felt uncomfortable having to navigate around the spaces.Our room was also very loud. We heard people coming and going, heard the staff cleaning the rooms.

Loud events taking place in the bar every night just below my room. Parking place is too tight lucky not to have a scratch.

Location and accessibility to public transport. Lots of restaurants in walking distance.

Rooms were a bit cluttered with decor objects and the menu was quite basic onsite but in fairness the staff were accommodating and helpful. They made custom items for our young child, so can’t complain. Size of the rooms are amazing, management were super responsive and extremely helpful in rectifying any issues.

Just a short tram ride from the centre of Milan , very large comfortable rooms with great friendly staff and on site parking.Food and drinks are first class and breakfast is a winner . Also very close to an enormous Saturday market . This is a very clean hotel and it smells amazing in some areas and has a great bar with lots of spaces to meet up with a group or be on your own. We were holidaying however i could be very happy staying here if i was working.

The bedroom decor is a little tired , it has a crazy collector vibe which is a bit dated but we found quirky , the main hotel part has been renovated to a new modern curved minimalism how ever i do hope they keep some of the mid century madness. Our main complaint would be the over designed minimalist shower tap which needed full concentration for using to obtain hot or cold water I hope these are replaced in renovation. Milan was very hot when we visited and the hotel was keeping fairly cool considering parts open into a lovely courtyard bar.

I had a Nespresso machine in the room and was delighted but the hotel does not offer Nespresso coffee. The capsules they propose are not at the level, and that s a big no, especially in Italy. Given room rate guests should be treated to a real Nespresso :)

Style and location. Great boutique place !

Black mould in our bathroom.

Great location, easy walk to all main attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful when asked about things. The breakfast and dining area was lovely.

Felt our room whilst spacious it was too dark, need more natural light or lighter tones.

A beautiful boutique hotel with its own unique style, the staff were very attentive and welcoming, breakfast was amazing so many beautiful choices with quality fresh produce on offer.

The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location was perfect - easy to get to everything, right in the heart of very cool Navigli area but away from the overrun tourist centre.
