Very clean, convenient location and very friendly staff

Just stayed 2 nights at this fantastic property. Its extremely spacious, well furnished and clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable and gave us a good night's rest. I loved that they provided adapters and some snacks. Hosts are excellent

No clear signage at entrance, spent some time to look for it at the beginning.

Perfect for an extended stay of 3 or more nights. A short walk from Milano Centrale rail station. Absolutely helpful and courteous staff. Secure and safe location. Laundry available for self-service. Air conditioning worked very well. Very comfortable.

The hair dryer needed replacing and the mattress can be a bit too firm for some people who may not be used to it.

Friendly staff, super safe. It's across the street from a Metro station and less than a 5-minute from the train station and taxi terminal. You can also find the bus stop for taking you to the airport. They provide coffee, cookies, water and juice free of charge. You adjust the thermostat and each room has a separate unit for your comfort.

Everything is within proximity to the station.

The staff did not send me the code in advance. Also, beware that they charge 10 per person per night for a 3-star hotel instead of the recommended 4 per night. For 3 nights, we paid 60 city taxes for 2 persons.

Very close to Milan Central Train Station and only 70 m. From the metro Caiazzo. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable.

Beds are uncomfortable. Pillows just as bad. Decor is drab and boring reminds me of my college days. Rooms are not quiet and hear everything in hall.

The accommodation was well located and suited our needs perfectly. The accommodation was a couple of minutes from a subway station. The rooms were a good size, were clean and comfortable. The kitchen facilities in the room were good. Helpful staff on site

We had an issue with Maps upon leaving the train station for the first time but once we found Residence De La Gare it was so convenient to the train station, the Metro, and our Viator tour to Como meeting point. They have an early check-in which was perfect for our arrival time. Upon check-in we asked to have the beds separated which was done by the time we returned from our afternoon tour of the Duomo. The apartment was very spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable!. There was a full size refrigerator in the kitchenette for those who need it. As in many older units in Europe it was a pretty steep step to get into the bathtub for showering but manageable. The gentleman in charge was very friendly and helpful. He stored our luggage after check-out so we could do a Viator tour to The Last Supper the morning of our departure to Venice. Our stay at Residence de la Gare made our 2 night stay in Milan very enjoyable. The price was reasonable and the location was perfect.

I prefer walk-in showers but tub was manageable.

Very clean. We felt safe. It was comfortable. Easy to get access to transportation- 6 minute, easy walk to Milano Central station ( Train, bus, uber, taxi). They even had power adapters to use !!!

We didn’t find a late night store, so it would’ve been nice to have a way to buy water and chips. I’m sure there is a store- shame on us for not asking …
