Hotel Dover

The staff was extraordinarily helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was excellent with a large choice of foods. Location is great, a half block from the tram stop in a neighborhood full of restaurants and a grocery store in walking distance.

This cute little 2 star hotel is a great value if you just need a no-frills, clean, comfortable lodging in Milan for a low price. The neighborhood is very cool, lots great restaurants, bars, coffee shops. The concierge at Hotel Dover is helpful & kind.

The customer service and all staff were really polite.

The room was in a bad condition with almost no light, no main lamp and no option the curtains to be lifted.

Location of hotel is very good. The most important thing was the staff. Arash and amir are really helpful and friendly.

All the staff are very nice and helpful, especially Emir and Muhammed are very friendly, I will come again next time.

Great hotel with a great location. The receptionist upgraded my room upon arrival, so I was even able to choose which window view I preferred. My room was always warm, which was very important as I visited Milano in the middle of December.The staff were super polite and friendly. Every time I returned to the hotel, I was offered tea, coffee, and water. You do a great job, guys

Great location ~ 5 mins walk from M3 Tricolore line. Duomo is on walking distance as well. Pretty kind and helpful staff. The room is very clean and convenient. The price is higher than I would like to be but this is the reality in Milano :)

Close enough to walk to all sights. Staff were pleasant and accommodating.

Noisy, had a hard time sleeping from noise on street to people staying there, walls are paper thin. I could hear people talking in next room- or if they were yelling etc. Some reception staff seemed annoyed that you were there.

A small hotel with a warm and homely atmosphere. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but well equipped. Cleanliness is excellent, and housekeeping is done daily with fresh towels provided each time. The location is great – in a quiet residential area with many restaurants, grocery stores, and a convenience shop. There is no metro nearby, but two tram lines connect to the Duomo and the Central Railway Station.

There are no European Schuko sockets, so you will need an adapter. There is also a safety box, but it does not work.

Room smelled and bed cover felt unclean. Bed uncomfortable. Ashtray at front of hotel always full and cigarette smoke coming in the room if you open the window for air. No sound proofing, can hear loud staff talking at front desk and can hear every word.

The woman on reception in the mornings should learn how to smile and be more relaxed and hospitable. Or get another job!

The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was simple but fine.

The room was quite dark with very little lighting, and the bathroom shower stall was extremely small — even smaller than an airplane bathroom. On top of that, the showerhead was very old and rusty, and could really use a replacement.

Clean, cozy, small hotel in a quiet area. Short walk to get tram or metro. Receptionist are helpful and friendly. Good breakfast.

Staff is more than exeptional, they made our stay more enjoable.From the moment we made contact with the Hotel, even before the official check-in they were very helpful and friendly. Best experiance we had with hotel staff in all our travels.

All the minor complaints we have pale in comparison to all the good things we experienced.

For a 2 Star hotel, it was better than expected. All of the staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. The continental breakfast had a good choice and was part of the price. The hotel is sited just off a main road, so it was quiet but near to the local tram services. About a 20 minute walk to the Duomo Milano

Very nice and cozy place, location is really good, and the staff was super friendly.My wife especially liked the mattress and the pillows.

Very noisy outside, there's a couple of bars and restaurants etc. I would suggest requesting a room that doesn't overlook the street. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room and rooms were very basic.
