Pros +
- Terrible experience.
- Proximity to central station
- Location
Cons -
- Hard to find the location and get in the multiple doors to access the right building/area. We tried for 20 minutes to get the keys out of the lock box. Then called for help and they made us feel incompetent for not being able to access the keys. We then had to wait 40 minutes for a worker to arrive to break open the lock box because it was stuck. Once we finally got in the room after sweating for an hour in the heat outside the door, we went to shower and the entire shower head and piping fell off the wall. The staff then said they could fix it in the morning when we were leaving in the morning. This was a horrible experience.
- Very poor condition. Very poorly advertised in your website. Communication was very bad and had no positive response from any staff to help me with a different request. I am certain now that the ratings you use ate useless and therefore I will not use booking.com again. This property was extremely difficult to get in and out of, very poor condition, and an absolute waste of money.
- Front door key didn’t work, had to wait for someone else to let me in. Suit also had a hole in the floor, I tripped on that in the night

So difficult to stay at. Right from the check in I felt something strange was happening. I had to send all of my scanned docs via an online form including taking a selfie!!! Then they sent me an email with 4 different entrance codes. I got there at 8.15pm tired after a long day and then had to navigate Fort Knox to find my room. The 2nd to last obstacle was the door to the apartment which was broken anyway so just opened with a push (not exactly safe). When I got to my final obstacle the electronic key box, I could hear running water from my room. I got in to find the flush broken on the toilet so I then had to dismantle the plastic around the flush to stop the water. They responded quickly via whatsapp but as there are no staff on hand I would have had no assistance anyway. Advice: just hire someone to help with check ins and ditch the codes. 8.15pm on a Thursday is not that late!
Lovely building and fantastic room, very spacious and lovely little balcony overlooking the courtyard. Bathroom was superb.
We had friends staying in another room which was facing the road and they said the traffic and trams were loud.
Clean spacious room. Comfortable beds. Location.
The keys on the main entrance does not work. The management sent us this link where we need to ring our room number first then press a link on our phone to unlock the main door. We tried multiple times but still not working. On their message before check in, they said that a staff is always present to provide but we didn't think that it would be over whatsapp providing instructions. On the second night after coming back from a daytrip to Switzerland, we came back around 10.45pm. And we can not open the main entrance. We tried a million times with that link but still not working. Luckily another tourist came and was staying on a different room had the keys and they said they have the same issue. We were able get into our room by 11.30pm. They could have just used a traditional keys to open the main entrance. As a tourist, i really don't mind what type of keys I am holding as long as it works whenever i need to enter my room. Also there was no rubbish bin in the room aside from the small bin in the toilet. These are small investments for the property. I would have rated this property 10/10 if not for keys not working.
Passable
The check in was difficult . The keys didn’t fit the knob and when I called for help the second time they didn’t answered !
Very clean and good bed, good location for travel
The wc basin was broken and make a noise non stop, but with closed door was ok
Key Problems
Place looks fine. As it is pictured and it is fairly clean. However, there’s a huge problem with all the doors you have to cross to get into the apartment. The main door that leads into the building is malfunctioning. The key given to us by the host company is not suitable for the door and therefore it doesn’t open. We were locked out, many times, a lot of times for more than half an hour & we had to call the agency that runs the place to open the doors. Although, each time they arrived they were too late and someone else from inside the building opened the door for us. This is an unfortunate circumstance and bad experience overall since we were always scared that we would be left locked out. I don’t recommend for this exact reason. The hosting agency told us this would be fixed just to reassure us but obviously it didn’t get resolved.
Tha location is very good. It’s near the central station and 20 minutes to the city center.
We were for 4 nights. The room don’t clean for four days, so it’s bad. Also keys don’t work and it was a real problem you need to wait for people who live in this building to open the doors, and another guests can’t come into the rooms because if the keys…and they were knocking at night to come into their rooms.
Good location, the room is big.
It is a very old building, the door at the entrance of the building is not working properly, it is not opening properly. They gave us wrongly the keys from other apartment, we need to wait to switch the key. The room was really cold, it has just air conditioning and it was not really working. The room was not perfect clean.
Nice towels. Nice bed
Cold shower. Building was very old with thin walls and lift was scary.
The location is easily reachable on foot from the Central railway station (about 10 mins) or by Tram No 5. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and two supermarkets in the local area. There is a cafe serving breakfast and light lunch on the corner of the street and a restaurant (Tram Tram) next door. Trams No 1 (to city centre) and No 5 (to Porta Venezia) regularly operate along the street outside the property. The property is one of four apartments located on the 4th floor of a typical courtyard style of building. The large street door leads into a courtyard from where another door is unlocked to access the communal staircase and lift. On exiting the lift on the 4th floor, the apartment corridor door is directly opposite and this then gives access to each of the four apartment doors. The apartment was spacious, consisting of two bedrooms, each with a balcony and an en-suite bathroom linked to the 2nd bedroom. There was also a kitchen unit in the 2nd bedroom with a kettle, some basic crockery and a fridge. There was plenty of hanging space and a good supply of clothes hangers.
The locks of the street entrance and communal staircase/lift entrance doors are worn so it can be tricky to get the keys to rotate and unlock, but they do work. Sometimes it happens straight away and sometimes you have to wiggle the key in the lock to make it work. We had an issue with a faulty kettle plug and a leak from the shower cubicle which caused water to puddle on the bathroom floor. These issues were promptly dealt with once we reported them to the management company Easylife. I would not recommend this property to any wheelchair users. Firstly because of the narrow inner doors of the lift making access/egress of the lift probably quite difficult. Secondly because there are two steps upwards immediately behind the 4th floor door, followed by two steps downwards into the actual apartment. Thirdly there are two steps leading to the en-suite bathroom.
The room was beautifully decorated and very clean with perfect presentation. Instructions for entering and leaving were clear, and very accommodating for arrival time.
The doors up to the flat were a bit difficult to unlock at first, but after a few tries it was easier.
Spacious.Very friendly staff.
1-The fridge’s handle was broken.2-Too many doors/keys (4 starting from the one for the whole building till you go to the room).3-Blood stains on the bed sheets.4-Shower flow was weak/slow. The shower box was also too small. Lastly, the shower door didn’t lock tightly so the water would go out of the box to the restroom.5-the elevator was probably the smallest elevator there is.
I found leftovers of food in the fridge. And as I contacted the team, showing pictures, they just said "I'm sorry" without remedying the problem. Disgusting!
Bed size and attention to details
A bit of smell in the bathroom, but nothing so bad to cope with
Check-in was smooth, host met us at the property. The bed was big and there was A/C. It was clean and for the most part the room has what you need but is kinda small. There are restaurants nearby, and it's close to Central Station.
Unfortunately the wi-fi was unusable in our room (403). This might not be the case in the other rooms that were closer to the router, but while sat at the desk or on the bed in the room, wi-fi was crawling (speedtest showed 4 mbps) even after turning router off/on. I needed to work and had to sit in the common area which was not convenient and had other guests walking by while I was on zoom meetings. The room is in a sub-divided apartment.
Good location, very friendly and helpful staff, large and comfortable room
Tour person excellent in explaining about city and surroundings / great suggestions about local places she was terrific all places we went was fun and enjoyable
All was perfect
