Located a 5-minute walk from the Louver Museum and the Jardin des Tuileries, Normandy Le Chantier offers guests the opportunity to experience the transformation of its 19th century building during a two-year renovation project. The renovation is still during so it's not finished. Guests will enjoy their stay in newly renovated rooms which boast high-speed WiFi, a flat-screen TV and double-glazed windows. The renovated rooms also feature modern bathrooms with a walk-in shower and a hairdryer. Breakfast is available each morning, with room service being an option. The hotel has two restaurants, El Vecino inspired with authentic Mexican taqueria and Buckwheat, a traditional French crêperie. In the evening, guests can enjoy a drink in the hotel's speakeasy-style bar, Rehab. The hotel has several meeting rooms, including an elegant reception room with Napoleon III-style ceilings, Il Palazzo, towering nearly 23 feet above your head. - Best hotel of my trip of 3 different hotels in two cities. From perfect location, modern vibe that was very well designed, thoughtful and functional. Staff were all friendly and professional.
- The location is good.
- The included breakfast was simple and delicious.
Cons -
- I wished I stayed longer. Would have flipped my trip to stay longer in Paris instead of London.
- The hotel didn't have hot water for three days while I was there so no showers, and refused to provide even a partial refund. This is highly unprofessional and businesslike. There was also busy construction inside the hotel.
- We did not realize the hotel was under that level of construction.

The location is good.
The hotel didn't have hot water for three days while I was there so no showers, and refused to provide even a partial refund. This is highly unprofessional and businesslike. There was also busy construction inside the hotel.
