Pros +
- Comfortable bed, nice linens, nice bathroom, very clean. The staff were all excellent and the hotel is in a great location
- Server at breakfast and location
- Charming, older hotel centrally located, offers a warm service staff and very comfortable surroundings. We spent two nights at the Brooks hotel, with a return visit several days later. Our room was quiet, spacious, and well appointed.
Cons -
- no heat and no water pressure in the shower. Had to take a bath. Veryyyyy outdated room
- Our first stay included a soft mattress. We were given a firmer mattress in a different room when we returned for one more night.
- No views from the windows, tiny elevators and we had problems with the plumbing

The Brooks hotel was the perfect location for us! Staff were amazing and our room was beyond spotless! We will definitely stay here again!

location, location, location!
It was considerably more expensive on a Saturday night versus the prior Sunday night. We were there on bookends of a tour and paid much more for the 2nd night.
Extremely friendly staff and great location. We had a Wonderful time. We did have a problem with our flight arriving on time so we contacted the staff to advise them of our delay and they were extremely accommodating.
Nothing at all.
The relaxed & informal environment, and the courteous & professional staff. And the food is very good.
Location was excellent. Staff was friendly.
The location was perfect.
Loved the location and the friendly staff.
The room was cold and slow to heat up but the weather was extremely cold outside.
Location and exceptional value for Dublin..easy to park, surroinded by lovely bars and restuarants, room was veey comfortable and classy
Nothiing
Staff was lovely
Payed extra for a room with balcony got there and wasn’t Available ,then we ordered passion fruit martin and wasn’t anything like it they wore made with oranges ,order our food starters wore stiff cold and then we go 2 steaks first of all my boyfriend got medium rare and it was actually still raw on the plate and I ordered well done and it was basically medium rare came with no sauce and was also stiff cold
Excellent location , near Grafton street , multi story car park directly across the road. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean and very cosy bed . Nice and quiet during the night . Breakfast just ok , we went down at 10am which probably didn’t help
Breakfast poor , scrambled eggs looked disgusting, beans over cooked and stuck to the bowl . We went down at 10am , breakfast not fresh , wouldn’t pay for breakfast again
Parking facility across the road subsidised by hotel 20% off. Central to everything but tucked away enough to get peace and quiet.
Rooms are on the compact side but I would expect that in a city location. Breakfast wasn’t the best with food left sitting too long under heat so recommend just eat out locally.
We loved the location, and the breakfast was very good, I thought the extras for omlette etc was too much.
When I arrived the room was cold 14 degrees, I tried to adjust the thermostat and eventually rang reception and they sorted it from their end. Unfortunately, the bathroom was freexing and didn't seem to have any heating so we didn't even shower because of the cold.
Reception lady was so kind, efficient and looked after me.The room wasn't serviced correctly but met a lovely housekeeping girl on the corridor who came with tea bags, water coffee and clean cups .
Final housekeeping checks on room
Stayed in a contemporary room on 5th floor with balcony. The room itself was well presented, comfortable bed, spacious well stocked bathroom.
While realising this is a city centre hotel, and weekend noise is to be expected, the noise levels from outside were just too much. Excessive noise went on until c2.30am If you having a late night out on the town yourself then it’ll be fine, if not then I’d advise asking for a room at the back of the hotel.
Receptionist was exceptional. Upgraded our room along with assisting us with any of our asks.
Walking distance to Grafton Street and Temple Bar though removed enough from the busy streets.
