    Cons -

    • The room was dirty. Bathroom had boogers and brown marks on walls
    • Asked about lost and found and they were not really helpful kinda laughing about a top I left behind last visit . Plus some dodgy guys from dublin in there that weren't staying there trying to scam people
    • Room passable but not as clean as you'd like. Clean sheets at least.

    Very bad experience

I have booked 1 rooom 4 single bed and private bathroom but wasn't clarify that roooms are mixed. When I have asked at receptionist the reasons of this she told me that all room are mixed. When I have checked-out before use all period of my booking, I have asked if was possible refound 14nights of 19 nights on my booking. She told me that I had sent an email at their email for this problem. After 15 days from send email they didn't answer yet. That's terrible.

    It's an OK place with...

The fact that there isn't a bathroom for each gender on every floor is annoying. It's a pity that there are so many things neglected in the maintenance of the facilities. Many of the doors of the bathroom cabin are broken, and so on. It wouldn't take too much to have it in a nice condition.

People, the place is friendly and each night there is a funny activity where you can met new people. Also the bar is a good place to get a beer. The room is cozy enough, bathroom is ok. Each bed has its own locker where a handbag and other stuff can fit inside, you have to get your own padlock, or you have to pay it extra.

When booking seemed so cool, but realistically nothing was like advertised. For Every little thing it was necessary to pay. No kitchen, no hot water, no microwave, nothing. Its a hostel but on a hotel vibe and scam-ish.No one tells you that there is a water dispenser, it behind the bar and the vending machines. sus .Every game, fun activity is based on payment. Breakfast combo is a scam, 10 euro for the menu when booking then you discover that is the same price as getting it there. The menu is mediocre. The bed is a bit little for me and im average.

Great location! Everything is walkable from our hostel. Staff are very welcoming and helpful.

Toilet flush problem, we had our own bathroom but we need to wait for the flush to fill with water and then we can use it. We told this to the staff and they said the same thing

Location was okay and has some free street parking nearby from 7pm-7am.

The beds are just awful, like sleeping on a rock. The room wasn’t very clean and when you walk on the floor you get dust and dirt stuck to your feet. My dorm mates kept going in and out of the room all night. Didn’t like the pub atmosphere walking in, quite noisy in the main area, people drinking and punching a punching bag machine.

Cheap, great location, fun activities, restaurant.

    Loud doors.

The woman at the reception was nice and friendly. It has a large social / eating areaI like that it has hairdryers in the bathroom

When I first arrived to check in the guy at the reception didn’t even acknowledge me or say hello, so instantly felt unfriendly and unwelcoming. (Used the self check in instead)The hallways had a very strong bad smell which I could also smell in the room at night and struggled to sleep because of it. The rooms also aren’t cleaned properly because when I checked in to my top bunk there was leftover rubbish on the shelf including used eye contact lenses

I stayed in a private room with a shared bathroom - the room was clean, with a comfortable single bed, desk, chair, and space to hang clothes. There was also a radiator in the room which was easy to operate and set to your desired temperature, which was very much appreciated given how cold Dublin was whilst I was visiting! Despite the hostel being busy and there being a rather large group booking who were staying on the same floor, I didn't experience any issues with noise, and slept soundly during both nights of my stay.

I stayed on the first floor, and the shared bathroom facilities on this level had a lack of privacy/security.In other hostels that I've stayed in, if the shared facilities are gendered, they will be in areas that are only accessible to the people that have booked coordinating gendered rooms. However, the female facilities on the first floor were accessible by literally anyone (no keycard entry), and both the outer, and inner doors were left wide open, which meant that people walking through the corridor could just see directly into the bathroom area.

Very comfortable bed, the person at the reception was very friendly when I checked in. The area felt safe, and there is a nice bar on the ground floor.

The managers should invest more money in the showers. The bathroom was not the best. The person at the reception when I checked out was not particularly friendly.

    Location is central

Arrived here to stay here for 4 nights but on arrival they would not accept my valid photo I.D. ( public service card) so refused my stay and also refused to give any refund also. The staff member then when on to advise me of another hostel he knew who would accept my form of id. I gave him my phone to find this other hostel and booked me for 4 nights there. When i looked at my booking this other hostel was in the Netherlands. Was extremly annoyed with how i was treated and the staff member didnt care whatsoever, in fact seemed to find the whole situation ammusing .Ive tried to reach out via phone but they never answer. No apologies, no refund, am very disappointed.

The place is well located, the staff is friendly and the vibe is nice.

There are no silent places for relaxing or making a call, only noisy environments. Also, no kitchen utensils whatsoever.

The music in the communal area was low this time. Thank you!! The bed was great, TV, bathroom clean and lovely and warm during the night.

The sockets were all bad. Flickering lights and charger for my phone would be charging one minute and not the next. I did report it to reception so it wouldn't get worse or cause a fire.

Nothing someone stole my International passport in lodge in room 22, too painful

The reception doesn't have empathy, too strict to my liking, he need to show empathy at time

The location of this hostel is perfect! It's in the hip Smithfield neighborhood of Dublin, very close to Jameson, and walkable / an easy tram or bus ride to anything you could want to see in Dublin. Some wonderful restaurants and pubs nearby (I loved Cobblestone Pub). The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the hostel had a lively vibe. Nice staff. I stayed in their private room, which is a great middle-ground option. Highly recommend for solo or budget travelers!

The food is meh - I'd recommend not eating here but trying many of the great restaurants & pubs around.

I had just returned from Chile that morning and the girl at the desk was exceptionally understanding in letting me check in earlier than usual. I checked out again at 5.30 that evening to catch the train home.
