In Temple Bar, close to the Button Factory venue, The Merchant House has spacious, luxurious suites that are minutes from restaurants, theaters, bars and historic landmarks. The guest-house-style suites in Dublin's Old Quarter come with free internet access, luxurious bedding and in-room refreshments. The Merchant House building was built in 1720, then restored in 2005. Each suite has a large, stylish bathroom and soundproofed windows. Express check-in/out service only. Location was good
The noise from the street was constant all night long, drunks, cars and street sweepers, and the guests in the room above us. Single bed was so uncomfortable my daughter slept at a different hotel. This hotel is UNSAT!
We stayed in the Oscar Wilde Suite. It was large and nicely furnished. A good price for the area. The room was quiet and clean, the location 2-3 minutes from Temple Bar. I enjoyed the unique architecture of the room and the character. Parking is nearby.

The only problem was the five flights of stairs to our room.

Didnt like climbing so many narrow stairs to get to room. Would recommend a lower level room
