Great location. Love that coffee and water available 24/7
No, it was great
The staff was excellent
The rooms wre small but that was not unexpected
Nice hotel with very helpful staff. Close to art museums and tram for access to city center.
The staff , in particular Tyko and Flavio were caring and attentive.
Bathrooms and shower very small
Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We got great recommendations for food as well. The hotel is located a short walk to the train station, making it easy to access and leave on travel days.
The location was great, the shared space was lovely, the staff was wonderful
We were in room 106(yellow door) and the toilet was broken, the shower wouldn’t drain, the towels were stained with makeup and the duvet was stain in the bottom right corner.
The location was great - right on the tram line that leads into the main areas of Amsterdam. There were a couple of cafes around for coffee and breakfast.Short journey to the airport from here and relatively cheap in an Uber.
The room was small and loud as it was right beside the lift. Perfect for short stays but wouldn't recommend for more than a weekend. Could also hear people upstairs walking around.
Very clean & super friendly staff
No, hot water kettle to make tea.
The staff was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The room was perfect for what I wanted, a day to explore Amsterdam before work travel. The hotel is conveniently in the Museum Quarter, has some space to relax and have a coffee downstairs, and is a nice walk from Amsterdam Zuid station if you enjoy a bit of a stroll. I was grateful for being able to leave my bags for the afternoon after I checked out.
Location was excellent. Staff was wonderful. AC unit worked very well. Quiet during sleeping hours.
The pillows were so tall and stiff. Hurt our necks.
Location, helpful reception staff. We could walk to the museum area and to the rest of the sightseeing places. Trams are very convenient and the tram stops are close by to the hotel so if you don’t want to walk, take the tram.
There’s a cat in the premise which was allowed freely in the dining area. Concerned about allergies and hygiene.
The location is very good, it's easy to get to different parts of the town. The staff is very friendly and they have nice amenities such as free tee/coffee. They allowed us to check in early which we appreciated.
Near our room there was a motor that turned on every minute for a few seconds 24/7. Use the provided earplugs. Several other issues come down to this room just being too small, even for being offered as 'small' (noisy fridge, bathroom too small to sit on toilet, AC blowing straight down onto the bed). It's probably worth spending a few more bucks to get a larger room.
Staff. Quiet room.
Stain on sheet. Smallish room and bed. Noisy AC and fridge. Lights in fridge.
I had such a great time here! The staff were absolutely amazing — a big shout-out to Flávio, Si Yu, and the Night Attendant (Iranian guy !) for their friendliness and helpfulness throughout my stay. The hotel is super convenient, with a perfect location in the De Pijp neighborhood — great restaurants and cafés around, and the #12 tram makes it so easy to get into Central Amsterdam. The room was cleaned with fresh towels daily, and I really appreciated the coffee machine in the kitchen and well-stocked minibar. And of course, Bella the cat completely stole the show — truly the star of the hotel!
The room felt extremely dated and cramped, with almost no space to move around or store luggage. The walls were quite thin, so noise carried easily, and there was sometimes an unpleasant smell in the elevator and breakfast area (possibly from the cat litter). The mural behind the bed — a giant flower — wasn’t very pleasant to look at, and the purple color scheme didn’t help the atmosphere. The bathroom layout was especially tight; the toilet is squeezed between the shower and wall, which could be uncomfortable for larger guests. With such a small space, the room could really benefit from better shelving and smarter storage — for example, under the TV, above the nightstands, or even some built-in shelving in the bathroom. Rearranging the furniture (like moving the bed toward the window wall) might also help the flow. For a Chinese-owned hotel, I expected a more feng shui–balanced layout, but it didn’t feel that way. At around €280 per night, I didn’t feel it offered good value for money given the space and room quality.
Great location. Close to museums.Safe neighborhood.Lots of nearby restaurants.Staff spoke English.Staff helpful with contacting UBER.In house cat. Quiet.
Bathtub/Shower confusing with big step to enter.Breakfast not included-it was fine - pricey.
Location was perfect for accessing public transportation, and for walking to less touristy parts of the city. Quiet but central. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and while the mini-bar fridge was small, it was enough for a couple of yogurts and drinks. Coffee machine well stocked and delicious coffee. In-room safe appreciated.
Decorative throw on the bed stained and did not look too clean. However, we simply removed it and set it aside, and the bedding we were in contact with as impeccably clean and crisp. Maybe dispense with that decorative element? Walls are thin - expect to hear your neighbors.
